Dear Parents:

Greetings of Peace!

The school has been closely monitoring the attendance report in all Grade Levels. It has
been observed that with the changes in weather conditions plus the threat of the current
CoViD-19 variants, several students have been missing their classes or asking
permission to turn off their cameras so that they will be attending their classes even if
they are not feeling well. Some of our teachers are not spared of this health problem as
well.

While the Second Periodic Examinations have been scheduled January 12 to 14, it would
not be helpful for the students to prepare for the exams or even take them when they are
not physically well. If several students will be absent in the class and they will be
scheduled to take on another date, they will be missing discussions and activities to be
done on their make-up days.

Having taken these things into consideration, the school declares an academic and health
break for the students from January 12 – 14. With this, Periodic Test Schedule has been
moved to January 17 – 19, keeping the same subjects schedule.

Students are highly recommended to take this time to rest and be physically well. Others
may take this opportunity to prepare better for the exams.

Thank you very much for your openness and understanding regarding the urgent need to
call for an academic and health break. We continue to pray for everybody’s wellness
during this pandemic times.
