2. Issue and Analysis:

Now, the machine add some parts for CE standard, include Orange hosing, PE connector,
Black hosing, Lightning label, Protection label and so on about the safety precautions.

3. Retrofit policy:
About CE standard, BAC adds an option part CE update packet [388.507.565]. About the
specification please refer to the TMN-SD1 009E

„ Main switch

2. Issue and Analysis:

For increase the security of SD1 machine, Now BAC has been improved the main switch assy.

Improve the main switch assy. from main switch [343.505.611], handle [343.505.613], shunt trip
[381.507.558] to main switch [343.507.559], handle [343.507.561] and shunt trip [381.507.563].
Note: Because the fix mode isn’t same, so if customer want change the new main switch

[343.507.559], he must change main switch [343.507.559], handle [343.507.561] and shunt
trip [381.507.563] together.

2. Issue and Analysis:
Now, the chuck of SD1 machine has been improved to the adjustable chuck [387.015.600], to
solve the leaking water and sparking from the chuck.

So the R axis has been improved too, the P/N is 387.014.863. The chuck has been changed.
The application range of adjustable chuck is Ø0.3mm—Ø3.0mm.

3. Retrofit policy:
If the installed machine needs to change a new R axis [387.014.863], please order the R axis
assy. (spare part) [388.014.883], because the cover of the R axis has been changed.
Note: The adjustable chuck [387.015.600] is a part of the R axis [387.014.863].

„ Finishing drilling assembly

Add SD1 finishing drilling assembly [388.015.389] for machining micro hole [Φ0.1mm,
Φ0.15mm, Φ0.2mm, Φ0.3mm,]. Include 3 parts: SD1 finishing drilling module [388.015.161],
Balzer chuck assy. and joint sleeve [333.014.879].
A. SD1 finishing drilling module [388.015.161]
Include 3 parts:

Capacitance box [383.507.416]

Note: When fix the capacitance box, must
unfixed two capacitors [330nF/630V] on
the capacitor board,
and set the C value is 0 in the COND page.

guide sleeve] and the electrode tube. The Balzer chuck assy. doesn’t include the seal gland.

„ The ring clip of flushing tube

2. Issue and Analysis:

Some old machines don’t fix the ring clip [313.000.482] of flushing tube, the water tube fall off
easy, so if the machine doesn’t fix this clip in the customer, please fix it asap.
