In communist states, social classes and economic inequality are theoretically non-existent In contrast with individual exploitation of economic resources under capitalism, the communist state adheres to central planning for economic and social activities. All other types of businesses are open for exploitation by private persons. This characteristic provides limited options for the private individual in making profits.
