Social Interaction

What is Social Interaction?

It is the social dynamic exchange of communication, it can be one person or


more ( a group), it could be friend, aquintance, colleague, etc. It can be long or
brief conversation of sharing and exchanging messages, Information and ideas.
There 5 types of social interaction:

● Accommodation
● Conflict
● Cooperation
● Competition
● Exchange
Exchange

The basic type of social interaction, it is a reward or a return when of the


person's actions, like a simple thank you or paycheck.
Accommodation

It is simply Adjusting oneself to the new environment, by going used to the


factors That are likely lead to conflict either by force of habit or sheer inertia or a
desire to “lice and let live”. There are four types of Accommodation:
● Truce: halts conflict Till compromised is reached
● Compromise: both parties give up something to come to an agreement
● Mediation: third party acts as a counselor in helping two parties reach an
agreement
● Arbitration: A third Party makes a decision that is binding to all parties
Conflict

Is a struggle of agency and power in society, happens to two or More people,


it happen when they oppose one another from differing Ideas and goals that
are jot aligned or compatible. Like war for example, fighting for resource for
society to use and thrive.
Competition

It is a social interaction where one or more parties, try to prove who is better or
superior the goal is one of the groups must complete the objective. This purpose
increase the resource capabilities
Cooperation

It is when two groups or persons share a the same goal or goals that are aligned
to each other, working together to achieve. It also can be cooperation within a
group to complete an objective during competition.
