1.1) No, On the video its seen that only the teacher is focusing only on one child in which she’s delaying the child on how to cope
on herself
Challenges

The child will likely depend on others in the future

The child sense of knowledge will start to drop and go to others for answers

The child might not make it in the Job industry

1.2) Check point learner’s knowledge

Check if learners will be able to apply the learning on the job
Allow the learners to make mistakes and through feedback, reinforcing the right approach
Keep lessons short but frequent
Recognize the power of encouraging words
In conclusion the teacher should include all the learners at the same time during classroom time in order to increase the level
of thinking to the learner should the learner have difficulties the teacher can arrange an extra class for him/her in order to
cover the certain topic the learner is struggling in

Question 2

2.1) Improved Academics

This includes leading to better grades. Working together allows students who struggle academically to learn from those who
understand the material and exposes learners to diverse populations of students they might not interact with under other
circumstances
2.2) Higher level of thinking Skills
These skills develop through encountering a problem that vary from one’s own. As students work together, they’re able to
experience the ways in which each other think regarding the task at hand. Such exposure then leads to the individual to
develop a higher level of thinking than previously possessed
2.3) Social skills
By working together, students learn more effective communication and interpersonal skills they learn to listen to each other
and to resolve conflict. Collaborating in this way brings them together as a class, leading to overall better social relations and
acceptance among the group
2.4) Personal Responsibility
They know they must take part in some portion of the exercise in order for the entire team to succeed. Accountability is also
gained, as students are aware they will feel the backlash from the group if they fail to pull their own weight and to do their
part
2.5) Self Awareness
Trough participation in groups, students are able to discover such things as whether they are leaders, if they listen to others
ideas and if they struggle to share their ideas for fear of ridicule or rejection. Without these types of interactions, such
discovers cannot occur. These experiences also lead to improved self-esteem in students and feeling more confident in their
own abilities.
Disadvantages
Students Must depend on one another
Students must collaborate with one another in order to be successful and work towards their common coal. This means they
must also depend upon one another to make things happen
Hogs and Logs
While students must depend on one another within a cooperative group it is easy for some to “hog” all the work while others
sit around like “logs”
A Lot of Talking
Encouraging students to talk within their roles while keeping the conversation academic can be challenging, but cooperative
learning strategies have built in accountability to the group to make it happen
Difficult to Grade
All students are responsible for teaching their own content chunk, but they are also responsible for learning the information
presented by their classmates.
Classroom Management Challenges
Students working in groups might also leave their seats to review materials together. Without strict discipline, cooperative
learning can be reduced an organ
