Short Background
and Rationale
(Basis/ Reference)
The continuing threat of COVID -19 in the country and the world
brings about unprecedented challenges to basic education. As
schools we prepare for SY 2020-2021 the teachers, and
parents/guardian should adapt to alternative learning modalities to
ensure that learners achieve essential curricular goals. This will
require creative and innovative ways of designing optimal learning
experiences and assessing learning progress and homeroom
guidance effectively under adverse circumstances.

Objective/s This LAC Session aims to:

● Gain knowledge in developing, encoding and using

homeroom guidance observation tool and assessment

● Identify the issues and concern of the learners,

parent/guardian and teacher in assessment of homeroom
guidance.

● Ensure equal opportunities for all children through the use of

Homeroom Guidance Observation Tool.

● Implement accurate and proper homeroom guidance

observation base on their capability of the learners,
parent/guardian and teacher and applicable and suited
 modality of the school and community.
