LEAD-IN:
1. I am interested in working in a finances department because it’s my dream job and my
major is international finance. As I know, finances department plays an important role in
a company. Besides some main functions such as controlling the income and examining
all the financial statements, the department is also responsible for the issuance of debt
for company’s projects, the retirement fund, purchasing and budget preparation.
 2. I prefer working alone to working in a team because I am not good at communicating
and building rapport. For me, working alone can make me more focus on the tasks and
boost my productivity. But in some cases when I have to join in a team, I still try my best
to assimilated and finish the projects perfectly.
SPEAKING:
When I was a high school student, I have been dreaming of working in a big bank in the future.
My dream company is Vietcombank, which is one of the most well-known and reputable banks
in Vietnam.
Vietcombank is a commercial bank in Vietnam. Its headquater is located in Hanoi – the capital
of Vietnam. If I’m not wrong, Vietcombank has more than 100 branches throughout our
country. Besides providing banking services, Vietcombank also joins in the stock market and
invests in securities industry.
Vietcombank has had a pyramidal structure, with a person or a group at the top and an
increasing number of staffs below. I think this structure is one of the reasons for this bank’s
success. With a hierarchical structure, it is easy to find out who is your manager to report to
some tasks or questions. In addition, employees may grow close to their managers and
coworkers, which can lead to more royalty within departments.
I always want to work in an environment where I can be surrounded by excellent people to
improve my skills and learn valuable lessons from my coworkers. That’s why I choose
Vietcombank as my dream company. I know it is a big challenge for me and I have to study
harder to achieve my goal. But I have confidence in myself and I strongly believe that as long as I
don’t give up on my dream, success will be there for me in the future.
