Output source priority and Schedule

Part 1 Working modes

1. Default working mode :
Normally the DC unit will prioritize to output the PV power , and the default output power is 100kW ,
So the output power depends on the inverter side , and if the PV power is sufficient , the excess PV power can be used to
charge the battery .
And the time schedule will be available for each 30 minutes.
2. Bypass mode :
If there is no battery connection or there is error on the battery side and wait for fixing , you can set to Bypass mode , so PV
power will just go to PV output side . both output power limit and scheduled time will take effect.
3. Charge priority mode :
Once you enable charge priority mode during the scheduled time , you can make sure the output power limit is 100kW , so
when the battery is fully charged or there is charge power limit , the excess PV power can output to inverter normally.

Part 3 Questions and answers

Q: Today, for example, with battery charge 15% it started to discharge the battery aiming at an output power of about
24kW. That makes no sense for us. We would like to set the battery charging power at a value of about 5-7kW (possibly user
select) from 8am to 6pm and set a discharge power of 5kW from 7pm on (possibly user selct).

A: Currently the charge and discharge limitation are based on the BMS of the battery itself , for example ,when the battery is
at 15% SOC , the battery discharge 24KW to output side , maybe it doesn’t make sense since you think the battery is in low
energy state and actually you want to charge the battery with low power instead of discharging a high power. But actually
the BMS allow the DC unit to discharge such a high power .
During the night time , there is no PV power , so output limit is discharge limit ,so battery discharge limitation should be no
problem during the night time .

Optimizations will be added in future

1. Charge power limitation will be added for each 30 minutes
2. Discharge cut-off SOC and recover SOC will be considered.
3. Settings in Web page will be more friendly .
