1. Robotic policy -May 2023


 VISION of Telangana : “Creating a sustainable robotics ecosystem in Telangana
that champions innovation, entrepreneurship, and research and development,
positioning the state as a leader in the field of robotics.
 To fulfil its vision, the state shall set up a separate body called the Telangana
Robotics Innovation Centre (TRIC)
 Focus Areas: Health, Agriculture, education, industrial automation, consumer robo
 to achieve the vision, the government has identified five key pillars:
 infrastructure access,
 business enablement,
 fostering research & innovation,
 human capital enhancement
 responsible deployment.
 TRIC shall be responsible for the implementation of this framework and will be
the nodal point to implement the Key Pillars
11. Telangana Cool Roof policy :2023 to 2028
 323 million people in India are at high risk due to heat.
TS is 3rd most urbanised state in the country (1.5 cr people)
a. Coated cool roofs
b. Membrane cool roofs
c. Tiled cool roofs
 In 2017 GHMC started on pilot basis
 In 2019 GOI India cooling action plan ICAP
The most cost effective method to fight heat, is to lower indoor air temp. 2.1 to
4.30c
 Lower cost-20%
Vision: to make Telangana thermally comfortable & heat resilient state
Objectives: finance, workforce development, institutional frame work state
wise implementation
Targets: 300 sq km of cool roof are by 2028
 Leads to carbon off set of 30 million co2
 Helps to save 600 million units (GWH) per year after 5 years
Mandatory for government, non-residential/scommercial building,
Residential (area >600 sq yards) and Govt. assisted housing scheme
Optional: residential (area<600 sq yards)
Nodal agency: GHMC, HMDA & DTCP for rest of state.
Target: 200 sqkm in GHMC area and 100 sqkm for rest of state
