JOB VACANCY NOTICE

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill
the following post:
JOB TITLE: MINE TESTER/SAMPLER
GRADE: 6 (SIX)
REPORTS TO: TREASURER
STATION: DONAIN GOLD MILL

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supervision of all mine and mill staff
2. Supervises the maintenance of mill tanks
3. Mining site exploration and map reading
4. Prepare and collect samples from worksite
5. Observe, track and record sample characteristics (including colour, texture, shape, size, density, weight etc)
6. Preparation of daily mine and mill returns.
7. Maintenance of all plant and machinery at the mill and mine
8. Ensure that all relevant state laws/standards are adhered to
9. To maintain accurate, updated records of preventive maintenance.
10. Any other duties assigned by the Treasurer.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. 5 ‘0’levels including English Language.
2. National Diploma in Environmental Science or related field (an added advantage)

EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES

1. Should be at least 25 years and above.
2. Able to work independently and under pressure.
3. Should possess strong analytical skills
4. At least 3 years proven working experience
5. Computer literate
6. Must be a holder of class four driver’s licence.
