Course Syllabus (Health and Wellness)

Course Description
This course is a great experience for those who hold an interest in Health and Wellness. This
course builds knowledge on nutrition, exercise science, and complementary and alternative
medicine. Participants are given the opportunity to learn the course material and apply it to life.

Course outcomes

 Describe the benefits and uses of commonly used vitamins and minerals.
 Discuss current research in complementary and integrative medicine.
 Describe the components of physical fitness and performance.
