Construction and Working

Two meshing spur gears with shafts are mounted
on the bearing located in the closed housing. The
housing is provided with inlet and outlet port. One
of the gears acts idle and the other is mounted on
the output shaft projecting out of the casing.
The high pressure oil led from the pump, forces the
gear in mesh to move in opposite directions. The
rotational displacement of the gear is transferred to
the output shaft. The low pressure oil is delivered
out through the outlet port.

Features
• Medium operational power motor.
• Simple in design.
• Not highly efficient.
• Pressure, speed and torque do not effect
much on efficiency of operation.
• Suitable for medium speed and low torque
applications.
 Application and Selection Parameters
• These are constant speed motor.
• Low displacement range = (5-300 cc).
• Speed of rotation = (200-300 rpm).
• Working pressure = (10-300 bar).
