ACTIVITY COMPLETION REPORT

Name of Activity: School-Based In-Service Training/ Workshop

Description:
INSET is a continuing and practical activity for teachers to develop professional
knowledge and skills throughout the education process. In-service training program helps
teachers to acquire new understanding and instructional skills to develop their effectiveness
in the classroom.

Objectives/Agenda:

The School-Based In-Service Training/ Workshop will enable the participants to:
 Learn and fully understand the different programs set by the DepEd that will address
to the learning loss and gaps due to pandemic;
 Develop strategic intervention materials for the learners; and
 Know and appreciate the importance of Microsoft 365 and its different
tools/applications in the teaching learning process.

Highlights of the Activity

 The program was started with the registration followed by an invocation, welcome remarks,
conference reminders and introduction of the keynote speakers.
 For session 1 the school head, discussed National Learning Camp (NLC) background and
rationale. Afterwards, all the participants shared key concepts and ideas about NLC. In the
afternoon, Ma’am xxxx, discusses about the general policy guidelines of NLC and it as
followed by the discussion of Ma’am xxxx on the placement of learners in the different
camps and assessment of learners. After the discussion the participants were given the
chance to air their questions about the topics discussed.
 For session 2, it was started by a prayer through AVP, nationalistic song and a hataw to
energize the participants and it was followed by the recapitulation of the topic discussed in
session 1. Afterwards, Ma’am xxxxx discussed on the policy guidelines on the
implementation of Key Stage 1 Foundation for Effective Learning Transitions (K-3) FELT
Project and it was followed by sharing of ideas of the participants on K-3 FELT program. In
the afternoon, K-3 FELT Program description, components and objectives was discussed by
Ma’am xxxxx and it was followed on the discussion of Ma’am xxxxxx on the utilization of
ECD, CRLA, EGRA and RUNT.
 For session 3, the training was started by a prayer through AVP, nationalistic song and a
hataw to energize the participants and it was followed by the recapitulation of the topic
discussed in session 2. After the recapitulation, the school principal Ma’am xxxxx had a
discussion and orientation about Catch-Up Fridays at it was followed on the discission of
National Reading Program (NRP) on Catch-Up Fridays by Ma’am xxxxxx. Afterwards, all the
participants shared key concepts and ideas about the topics discussed.
 For session 4, same with the other sessions the training was started by a prayer,
nationalistic song and a hataw to energize the participants and it was followed by the
recapitulations on the topic discussed in session 3. Afterwards, Ma’am xxxxx discussed on
the Catch-Up Friday’s teaching guides Key Stage 2 and it was followed by the sharing of
ideas about the topic. In the afternoon, discussion and hands-on activity for teachers on
Microsoft 365 was given by Ma’am xxxxxx and sharing of ideas about it follows.
 For the last session, it was again started by a prayer, nationalistic song and a hataw to
energize the participants and it was followed by the recapitulations on the topics discussed
in session 4. Afterwards, the participants had a preparation of outputs on the production of
reading materials for Cath-Up Fridays. In the afternoon, a presentation of the outputs for
Catch-Up Fridays made by the participants was done and it was followed by a closing
program.
 Closing Program was started by a prayer and a nationalistic song. It was followed by a
message given by the school principal Ma’am xxxxxxx and the distribution of certificates to
the participants.

Result:
The said training was very successful because the teacher participants were able to
participate actively and they were positively hoping for the better and improvement of the
performance of the school and its clientele. The objectives of the INSET were attained.
