Essential Parts of a Learning Plan
Learning Competencies The two learning plans have the integration of learning competencies. Learning competencies are the overall objectives of the course. Both of these learning plans have the essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes for the learners to acquire a certain skill which is vital for their future career. It is very evident that the teachers planned effectively these learning plans because there are sufficient lessons and activities that drive the learners to attain the desire competency at the end of the discussion/lesson. Learning outcomes/ students' objectives These are specific statements of what learners will be able to do at the end of the lesson. These must be brief, clear and attainable for learners. The use of having learning outcomes will help the learners understand the importance of learning that kind of information and how they can apply it in their real life setting. When learners able to identify the learning outcomes or objectives, these will increased their awareness for their own learning. They will strive harder to study the lessons and do well in the activities provided in each lesson so that they would be able to attain the lesson objectives at the end of the line. Daily Procedures Both of the learning plans have daily procedures. Each day, there is a specific activity designed for the learners. Daily procedures describe the ways of the teachers in delivering the lesson and students' response to each activity given. These must be well- organized to avoid any conflicts during the teaching- learning process. Based on the learning plans, daily procedures are well- formulated for the teachers and so with the learners. Accomodation for Differentiated Instruction
Differentiated instruction means a mode of teaching that accounts for
students' individual needs and learning styles before designing a lesson plan. Based on these sample learning plans, teachers are utilizing different ways to provide assistance to those students with special needs. They see to it that these students would still acquire the quality education and develop the essential skills which they could use in the future.
Materials and Resources Required
The two learning plans have used materials and resources for the discussion and activities. The teachers used PowerPoint presentation for showing the reasons to the students and with the aid of technology, it became easier for them to let the students watch a video connected with the lesson. Educational technologies such as laptops, projectors, smartphones contribute a big help in making the teaching-learning process more interesting and engaging both to the teachers and students.
