Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Revsoft - An IT Startup

Position Overview: The CTO will spearhead the company’s technological vision, driving technological
excellence in service delivery, and ensuring the alignment of technology strategies with sales and
production goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
 Design and implement a technology strategy that caters to the ever-evolving needs
of clients in the IT service sector.
 Understand RevSoft’s vision and strategy for each vertical including but not limited
to our philanthropic approach as well as what sets RevSoft apart from the industry.
 Collaborate with other C-level executives to align technological capabilities with
business goals.
 Experience in data management and analysis to ensure that the company is making
informed decisions based on accurate and reliable data.
 Ability to manage the company's data effectively, including data collection, storage,
and analysis, and ensure data privacy and security.
 Experience in developing and executing a strong technology strategy, leading
product development efforts to create innovative products, identifying and
implementing new technologies to drive efficiency and growth, and ensuring the
company's technology infrastructure is secure and scalable.
 Experience in building a network of partnerships and relationships to support
RevSoft’s goals and objectives. This may include developing partnerships with
suppliers, technology vendors, and other companies in the industry.
 Experience in building strong relationships with customers, understanding their
challenges, needs, and preferences and working closely with them to develop
products and services that meet their requirements.

Service Delivery Excellence


 Ensure that all IT services are delivered with top-notch quality, reliability, and
consistency.
 Oversee the development and implementation of new IT services to meet market
demand.
Sales Team Collaboration
 Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and
expectations.
 Assist the sales team in technical presentations, client meetings, and proposal
preparations.
 Provide technological insights during sales pitches, showcasing the company’s
expertise and capabilities.
Leading Production
 Oversee the IT service production team, ensuring timely and quality delivery of
services.
 Implement best practices in service production, aiming for efficiency and scalability.
 Coordinate between production and sales to ensure customer requirements are
effectively met.
Team Development and Management
 Ability to motivate and inspire team members, set clear goals and expectations, and
provide guidance and support to help them achieve their objectives.
 Ability to attract and retain top technical talent, for a strong understanding of what
motivates employees and how to create a positive and engaging work environment
 Lead and mentor the tech team, fostering an environment of innovation and
continuous learning.
 Define clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for the tech
department.
 Recruit, train, and retain top technological talent.

Risk Management
 Assess and manage technological risks, especially those related to service delivery.
 Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to data, security,
and IT service provision.
 Implement cybersecurity and data protection best practices.
Budget Management
 Oversee the technology budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for service
delivery, R&D, and infrastructure.
 Forecast technology investments in collaboration with the finance department.
Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree
(MSc, MBA, or PhD) is preferable.
 Four years of experience in a senior technology role in the IT service sector.
 Deep understanding of the IT service industry and its challenges.
 Strong leadership and team management skills.
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to liaise with both technical and
non-technical stakeholders.
