The short video that you have watched looks at the revolutionary impact of the internet. Dr. Aleks
Krotoski tells the story of the internet from its early days through to its most recent successes and
innovations. What do you use the internet for? Do you think there are negative sides of the internet or
is it all positive? What do you like best about the internet? And what do you like least about it?

Write a text of approximately 120 words to state your opinion. In developing your ideas, you should
include new areas of vocabulary and grammar structures that you have worked with during the
course.

When I was teenager I used to use the internet to watch YouTube videos, series and movies and play
online plays. But now I only use it to Read books and communicate with my family through social
networks. A very interesting part of the internet is the website it can help to find too much information
very quickly about communications, online shopping, search for information, music, education, movies,
etc. But all it isn’t positive, people are more impatient today than in the past because they have became
accustomed to getting everything very quickly. Also, it’s very difficult knowing that information is true or
false on some websites where sometimes there are lots of fake news. I like a lot of the Google translator
because it is the best app that can translate books that are in another language to your language. I don’t
like ads that appear when I am watching a YouTube video .ads is the least good of the internet.
