The independent fairtrade
mark is a label you will find

TransFair which, since 1992,
has made it its job to sup-
port disadvantaged producer
families in Africa, Asia and
Latin America. As an inde-

ives worldwide that have
joined forces in the umbrel-
la organisation Fairtrade
Labelling Organization (FLO).
Through independent inspec-
tions the body verifies that
the partners comply with
the international Fairtrade
standards. Over 70 inspec-
tors are employed to do this
worldwide.
The seal stands for greater
justice and social respon-
sibility, for decent wages
and a Fairtrade premium for
social development.
