Dear Mr. Roman,

I wish to apply for the position of sports director in your club. It is
published on the club’s official website on Friday that this position which I
am interested in is vacant.
Chelsea football club is a big club with great history and good results down
the decades not only in England and Europe, but in the whole world. This is
my favorite football club which I have supporting my whole life, since I was
born. Working in such great club like this will be a dream come true. I don’t
have much experience on that position, but I know what the ambitions of
the club are and what will be expected of me as a sports director. I love
football and working at Chelsea will be a pleasure for me.
Like my best advantage I would point out that I am ready for team work
which I think is something most important not just in football, but in any
other sport. I will always help my co-worker. Of course, I am very
ambitious, like the club is and I will always try to help and do whatever I
can do for the club and team to have better results. When it comes to
language, I have not problems. I am from Serbia, but I speak English like
Serbian, maybe better. In addition to all the above, I would add that I am
hard worker and responsible.
