Objective(s): Given diagrams of cells, students will:

1. draw simple diagrams to show the structure of a plant and animal cell.
2. Identify the parts of the plant and animal cells.
3. State the functions of the parts of the plant and animal cells.
4. Differentiate between the animal and plant cells.

Content: Cells are the basic unit of life as all organisms are made of cells. All cells share some
similar features in common although there are some significant differences between
the different types.
