Professor M. Ashokkumar
Professor Muthupandian Ashokkumar is a
currently the Assistant Deputy Vice-Chancellor at
the University of Melbourne. He has received
about $ 15 million research grants to support his
research
 work that includes several industry
projects. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Ultrasonic
Sonochemistry, an international journal
devoted to Sonochemistry research with
a Journal Impact Factor of 7.3). He has
edited/co-edited several books and special issues
for journals; published ~410 refereed papers (H-
Index: 74) in high impact international journals
and books; and delivered over 200
invited/keynote/plenary lectures at international
conferences and academic institutions.
Dr. Ashok has successfully organized 10 national/
international scientific conferences/workshops
and managed a number of national and
international competitive research grants. He has
served on a number of University of Melbourne
management committees and scientific advisory
boards of external scientific organizations. Ashok
is the recipient of several prizes, awards and
fellowships, including the Grimwade Prize in
Industrial Chemistry. He is a Fellow of the RACI
since 2007.

Dr. Aniruddha B. Pandit is currently Vice Chancellor
of ICT, Mumbai. Prior to this he has acted as a Dean HR
and Research Consultancy and research Mobilization. He
has been the coordinator of ICT-DAE center for
Chemical Engineering Education and Research since its
inception in 2008. He is on the editorial board on 5
international journals and is an associated editor of
Ultrasonic Sono-chemistry. He has successfully guided
and completed international science collaborations with
Universities from France, Australia and the Netherlands.
He has published more than 400 research articles in
international journals. He is currently serving as a
member of the BOG of the IIT Bombay. Research

Dr. Shirish Sonawane is currently working as
Professor and Head in Chemical Engineering
Department National Institute of Technology
Warangal, Telangana State, India. His research
Interest focuses on synthesis of hybrid nanomaterials,
cavitation based inorganic particle synthesis,
Sonochemical synthesis of nanolatex. Process
Intensification by cavitation. Dr. Sonawane is the
recipient of fast track young scientist Project in year
2007 from Department of Science and Technology,
Govt. of India. Dr. Sonawane has published more
than 150 research papers in reputed journals, 25 book
chapters, 14 Indian patent Applications. India
Dr. Shriram S Sonawane is an Associate
Professor in Chemical Engineering
Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology
at
Nagpur. Dr. Sonawane’s research area includes
a) Polymer Nano-composites b) Nanofluids c)
Nano-Separation Technology d) Process Modeling
and Simulation. He has 6 Indian patents on his
credit. He has published more than 150 research
papers in various Nationals and Internationals
Journals of repute. Nominated for the prestigious
“Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Award” for 2020, and
2021. He has organized various faculty
development programs, GIAN workshops and
International conferences. He has edited 3 books
and published more than 30 book chapters in
various reputed books. He also served as an
Expert in UPSC. He has received the “Fellow
Award” from the Prestigious Maharashtra
Academy of Science”. He is a Fellow Member
of the Indian Institute of Chemical
Engineers (IIChE). He is a “Fellow Member” of
the Indian water works Association. He is Guest
Editor for Sustainable Energy Technologies and
Assessment (ELSEVIER) (Impact factor: 5.3). He
is the “Executive Guest Editor” of the Current
Pharmaceutical Bio-Technology Journal. (Impact
Factor: 2.8). He has received more than 2580
citations on Google scholar. He has also
presented more than 80 research papers in
various Nationals and Internationals conferences.
He served as Ph.D. and M.Tech. Examiner to
various NIT, Universities and colleges. He has
been invited for an expert talk from countries like
Malaysia, Thailand Singapore and Belgium, etc.
He is guiding 02 Ph.D. students at present. 07
Ph.D. students are already awarded. Dr.
Sonawane has completed various international
and national projects to date.
