‘Bunny’ Slippers Pattern

To fit 0-6 months
To make bigger size go up a needle size

MATERIALS
100g DK yarn
Small amount of contrast yarn for inner ear, tail and face
Pair of 2.75 mm needles and 3.25 mm needles
2 Cadburys cream eggs if required

MAIN PART ( make 3 )

Using 3.25mm needles and main colour , cast on 22sts
Work 42 rows in gst
Place two squares tog, and join around outer edges , then fold three
Corners into centre to form an open envelope as pic below

Join the two seams .

Fold the remaining square diagonally to make a triangle and join edges
together ( see pic on next page )

Place the joined edges of triangle to edges to edges of open end of

envelope , Matching points as below and sew in place

OUTER EARS (make two)

Using 3.25mm needles and main colour , cast on 8sts .

Work 10 rows g st .
Dec 1 st at each end of next row and foll 6th row. 4sts .

Work 5 rows g st .
Next row k2tog twice , k1 row , k2tog, fasten off
INNER EARS (make 2)
Using 2.75 mm needles and contrast colour , cast on 8 sts and work as
given for outer ears

When you have 2 inner ears and 2 outer ears complete , sew inner ears
to outer ears , fold at cast on edge and stitch folded edge .

Sew ears in place

Embroider eyes , nose and mouth and make 2 small pompoms for tail and
sew in at back of slipper
For an Easter gift I have placed a crème egg in each slipper :)
