1. The mass of a ball is found to be (23.5 ± 0.2)g. Find the relative uncertainty of the ball.

2. The speed of a car was measured to be (120kph ± 3%). Find the absolute uncertainty of the car.

3. A group of 5 students was asked to measure the length of a basketball court using a meter stick.
The exact measurement of the length of the court is 28m, and the measurements of the students
were as follows: 27.4m, 28.8m, 29m, 27.7m, and 28.3m.

b. Solve for the variance and standard deviation.
