ABOUT SCARS
Schools Camp for Advanced Reasoning Skills (SCARS) is a 2-day workshop designed for school debaters between the
ages of 12 – 18 years old. In 2024, the unique debate camp will takes place in 9 different states in Malaysia. Participants will
undergo an intensive training of exciting debate lectures, workshops and training sessions, conducted by world-class
debate champions and experienced, successful trainers.

The workshop will covers interesting topics such as constructing winning cases, curating persuasive arguments, principle
arguments and also engagement, concessions and rebuttals. These are some skills that are powerful for debaters in
winning the championships.

The workshop is organised by MIDP - Malaysia’s leading and award winning soft skills education institution. Summarily,

To register, you may proceed to https://linktr.ee/SCARS2024

After completing the form, the organising committee will send you an email within 48 hours confirming receipt
of your registration, together with an invoice and payment instructions.

Proceed to pay your registration fee via bank transfer according to the instructions given to you in the email /
invoice. Please pay the fees before the payment deadline given to you.

After payment, please send the payment receipt by replying to the email sent to you earlier or to
midp.private@gmail.com including your name and the name of the event (SCARS 2024). Note that your slot
will only be confirmed upon submission of the proof of payment to the organising committee via email.

The organising committee will communicate with you with further information over email, so please check your
inbox (and the spam folder) regularly.

Kindly note that all registrations are final upon payment and no refund(s) will be provided under any
circumstances, including pull outs before the event. Participants/ guardians / teachers are advised to take
appropriate measures in making sure of successful participation.
