What: Outside walk. Take the infant outdoors.


Walk around your backyard, parks, or garden.
Explain what you see, feel, and hear.
Afterward, talk about how God is wonderful for
creating such a beautiful environment.

Why: This will help the baby understand the


world and appreciate the beauty of God’s
creation.
When: Every morning, when the sun is still not

Why : According to Piaget’s cognitive
development, infants learn through their
senses. In this activity, the baby’s sense of sight
is stimulated. In addition, it also helps baby to
develop vision skills.

hanging mobiles

What :While laying down, hold the baby’s


hands and gently move it for a clap while
singing “When you’re happy and you know it
clap your hands”

grasp objects and pass them from one
hand to another. Take advantage of

the baby to clean the toys and put them
on its place.

What : Stop dance. Play Christian songs or Sunday school songs


and dance with your child. Shout the word “Stop”. Stop the

to move their muscles. In addition, the child will learn self-

What : Market play. Set up a mini market at your child’s play


area. Buy a toy cart and play with money. Pretend to play that
you are in the market. Display toys and actual foods in the play
area. And let the child go around and put things he/she wants
in the cart.

Why : Children this age like to play pretend. This activity helps
children learn about the world and themselves. They will learn
about what they like or dislike. Pretend play also encourages
creativity and imagination. In this pretend play, the child also
learns about money and mathematics.

What : Let’s eat. During meal time, start to give them a cup and
spoon.

will learn and develop a lot during
Sunday school. They will dance,
sing, recite, listen, and do art
activities.

they did during Sunday school.
