EWM-Triggered Cross-Docking
This process does not required any other application or systems for the cross docking decision. You
activate this cross-docking variation with the usage of product group and product group types, Which
means it is generally product controlled whether a cross-docking is to be completed or not.

EWM Cross Docking Configuration
1. Activate EWM-triggered opportunistic Cross-Docking – Assigned Product Group “CD”
2. Assign Product Group type & Product group in Product - /N/SAPAPO/MAT1
3. Maintain Stock Determination Groups – “PP”
4. Configure Stock Determination
5. Enter Stock Determination group “PP” in Product - /N/SCWM/MAT1
6. Specify Storage Type Search Sequence (PK02 will be assigned to Goods issue Zone storage type
9099)

1. Activate EWM-triggered opportunistic Cross-Docking

Process Settings- Cross-Docking (CD) - Opportunistic Cross-Docking - EWM-triggered opportunistic
Cross-Docking - Activate EWM-triggered opportunistic Cross-Docking

For warehouse E055 Assign Product group type “CD” for both inbound & outbound

2. Assign Product Group type & Product group in Product - /N/SAPAPO/MAT1

Material – 573
Product Group type – CD
Product Group - CCROSSDOCK

SAVE

3. Maintain Stock Determination Groups

Go to new entries and enter details as below

Save. Stock determination group “PP” Created and assigned to warehouse
