To participate in this study, you must be between the ages of 18 and 25 years, Indian and
currently residing in India. You must not be from psychology educational background.
Purpose: The purpose of the study is to understand the existing stigma categories in India and
their assessment on six dimensions (Concealability, course, Disruptiveness, Aesthetics, Origin
and Peril).
Procedure: As a part of this study you will be asked to complete a brief survey. The survey will
take approximately 10-15mins to complete and you will be asked to provide some demographic
information.
Confidentiality: Only the researcher will have access to the data and it will be used only for
academic purpose. Total Anonymity will be maintained. No personal and identifying information
will be disclosed.
Voluntary participation and withdrawal: Your participation in this study is completely voluntary.
You will be asked for your consent to participate in the study. After the consent you are still free
to withdrawal at any time from the study. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the
study, please feel free to contact the researcher.
