B. In not less than 100 words, summarize the movie

The film Mulanay sa Pusod ng Paraiso displays Dra's commitment. Espinosa for restoring
optimism to residents of rural areas. She represents folks who cannot afford medical care as a
freshly licensed doctor. Dr. Espinosa loves to serve others, thus she is eager to assist. There she
met Norma, a local midwife in Mulanay, Quezon, and over time they teamed up to better the
medical situation in the neighborhood. They regularly met for meetings to discuss methods to
enhance their community's health. She needed some time to adjust to the surroundings. She
anticipates that she will need some time to adjust to living in the neighborhood. Most residents of
the barrio treat her as a VIP. She came to see that the barrio's health is not its only issue because
environmental risks, access to light and water, the barrio's properties' cleanliness and orderliness,
and the availability of all of these things are all factors to be considered. When the barrio was in
desperate need of medical aid, Dr. Ria enlisted all the possible causes. Dr. Ria and Norma usually
held a conference because the majority of residents of the neighborhood suffer from the same
condition.
Mulanay illustrates the political factor wherein the people and place need to have the counterpart
fund for the realization and installation of deep wells, the paving and construction of safe roads
in order for farmers to have a good income. This is one factor that affects and hinders the
potential change into the barrio because of the sad truth that perhaps in reality there is an
allocated fund that is prioritizing public health it's just that it undergoes budge. This film portrays
a neighborhood that isn't all that different from any other. It portrays both the ease of their lives
and the challenges they encounter on a daily basis. It concerns a community where illness and
starvation are pervasive and where development is controlled by those in positions of authority.
It shows a neighborhood in severe need of volunteers who can help it feel less miserable. It is a
community in dire need of competent leadership and specialists who have the power to influence
people's opinions. And like every other community, it strives to advance, grow, and change.
C. Discuss how does political, social, environmental and cultural factors affect the health
condition or status of the community
Political Factors – The political factor that can affect the health condition or status of the
community is that they don’t pay attention that’s why a lot of people is lack of information and
education and to provide the needs of the community.
Social Factors – The status of the community has a big impact to you
Cultural Factors – A lot of community has different beliefs or understand and It influences the
community's health by taking into account the health ideas of the people living in a certain
location. Everyone has their own points of view and opinions, which we must respect.
Furthermore, each family has a varied socioeconomic level, which might impact a community's
health.
Environmental Factors - It has an impact on the community's health. especially if everyone in
the community is unconcerned about their environment. Furthermore, if we maintain a clean
environment, we are less prone to develop such an undesirable state.

D. What part or scene from the movie you like best? Least? Discuss why.
During her time in Mulanay, Dr. Espinosa encountered a variety of issues in the
community, notably with regard to the people's confidence and certainty. Despite this, she
continues to provide medical services to those in need, and despite the difficulties, she does not
give up. People still doubted her because of her physical appearance and the method she treats
people, because the majority of people believe in quack doctors. I like this scene because as a
future nurse I know i will encounter this situation in the future and I got some technique on how
to deal to the people.
