Task 1

The line chart illustrates information on 4 types of materials recycled in some

countries from 1982 to 2010 in some countries.

Overall, the recycling rate of container glass and aluminum cans has tended to
increase over the past 28 years. Besides, plastic recycling rates tend to be stable.
However, paper and cardboard are less recycled over the years.

Looking at the details, the recycling rate of aluminum cans increased sharply
and steadily, specifically from less than 10% in 1986 to about 45% in 2010.
Inadditon, he recycling rate of glass containers in 1982 was relatively high at
about 50% but decreased slightly by about 10% in 1990 and then increased
sharply until 2010.

Regarding plastics, before 1990 it was almost never recycled, but then the level
of recycling increased but only fluctuated around 10% until 2010. However,
paper and cardboard were recycled the most in 1982 at over 60% and then
fluctuated unevenly over the next 10 years. This ratio peaked in 1994 at 80%
and decreased slightly to 70% in 2010.

Task 2
Nowadays, many schools attach more importance to learning English than the
local language. If this continues to happen, the local language will gradually be
lost. In this article I will give my own opinions on this issue.

English is very important because it is a popular language in the world. If people

want to go abroad to live and work, they must know English. It is common for
all scientific and technological documents to be written in English. Therefore
learning English is extremely important.

Local language is characteristic of a country. It represents the traditions and

culture of that country. So it needs to be preserved and preserved to pass on to
future generations. Therefore, learning the local language is also very important.

In general, English and the local language are very important. Everyone needs to
preserve the local language, in addition to improving their English well.
