    Havisham : (coldly) Hey, little boy, why are you looking at me like that?

    Haven’t you seen an old woman like me before?

    Pip : (politely but trembling with fear) Excuse me ma’am, I am new to all
    this and have no intention to cause offense.

    Havisham : So by the way, why are you here for, ….? And your name?

    Pip : I’m Pip, ma’am. Someone offered me to play with a girl in this house.

    Havisham : So that’s your purpose?

    Pip : (with trembling voice) Yes, yes ma’am.

    Havisham : Aren’t you afraid of what will happen?

    Pip : Ummm…. May I know if something is wrong?

    Havisham : (angrily) Don’t ask me the question back? Answer me rst!

    Pip : Yes, yes, I’m scared ma’am. Please don’t do anything to me.

    Havisham : (laughing) Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. (cold again) You
    are so dumb, Pip. Why are you so scared of me doing you something? Do
    I look that scary?

    Pip : (frightening) I’m a new person so I'm kind of scared of things. You
    are not that scary, ma’am. It’s just like I’m just scared.
    Havisham : Don’t be that scared, little boy. I won’t do any harm to you.
    Anyway, tell me why are you here again?

    Pip : It’s like someone offered me to come here to play with a girl.

    Havisham : Estella?

    Pip : Yes, yes, I guess so.

    Havisham : Are you sure you want to play with her?

    Pip : Yes, yes, ma’am.

    Havisham : If you really want to play with her, I’ll call her for you. Of
    course. Estella, Estella.
