Ok so4 this month I want you to do 5 sets of 20 reps of

continuing with your Stage 1 stretches, Stage 2 hanging,
Stage 3 diet changes, Stage 5 diet changes, Stage 6
sprinting, Stage 7 hang adjustments & PNF stretches after
your sprinting and Stage 8 cycling for 30 minutes (or

adjustment, Stage 9 diet changes, Stage 11 calorific
intake and counting, Stage 12 sleep tracking, Stage 13
diet change, Stage 14 pull-ups - once every week (5 sets

2 days after you do your chest presses.

So4In the next 30 days you will be doing:-


1) All the stretches from Stage 1.
2) 6 minutes of hanging from Stage 2(PNF style).
3) Drinking 2 litres of water everyday.
4) Eating the amount of protein necessary to equal your
bodyweight in pounds (lbs).
5) Drinking 1 litre of milk per day, taking cod liver oil &
glucosamine supplements
6) Doing a sprinting session every 3 days.
7) Doing 3 PNF stretches right after your sprinting and
doing PNF style hanging to replace your normal
hanging from Stage 2.

8) Cycling for 30 Minutes (or 15km) every 2 days4 then


gradually adjusting the seat height when you feel
ready to allow your legs to grow longer.
10)...Eating a portion(150-200g) of pineapple every day
before 2 separate meals with large protein content
per day.
11) Increasing calorific intake and counting calories.
12) Keep track of how much you sleep and ensure you

13) Eating the amount of carbs necessary to equal your
bodyweight in pounds (lbs).
14) Doing 5 sets of 20 reps of pull-ups once every

Ok so4for the next 30 days you are going to be

increasing your resistance training by doing 5 sets of 20
reps of deadlifts. These are to be done the day after you
do your squats.

Before the break from deadlifts you were previously doing


5 sets of 10 reps and with the reintroduction of them into
your routine we are upping the reps to 20. For those of
you who have yet to have significant gains, or for those of
you who have plateaued – these deadlifts should help
push you over this barrier and start gaining again.

Doing 5 sets of 20 reps will allow you to go slightly lighter


in terms of weight, which will allow you to concentrate
more on technique.

The Method

We have previously gone through in detail how to do a


deadlift in Stage 10, but I will recap on some of the main
points below:

1. Take off your shoes. Bare feet or socked feet are

both fine. This will help you get the most out of the
squat and will keep your core nice and balanced.
2. Keep your feet in their natural position (shoulder
width or slightly narrower).

3. Your arms should be out wider than your shoulders.
Make sure that when you are in the downward
position they do not touch your legs.
4. Keep your back straight throughout the deadlift.

5. When you are rising up, push up through your heels
and legs.
6. Keep your head straight. When you are in the
downward position, your head should be aligned with
your back so will be looking down towards the floor.
7. Make sure your deadlifts are a controlled movement,

you need to be aware of your technique whilst doing
them so that each one is performed correctly.
8. Go for a weight that is manageable to do 20 deadlifts
with. It should be harder on the 15-20th rep, but it
should be manageable. You should feel the burn the
next day. If you do not, then you may need to try a
slightly heavier weight.
9. If you are unsure that you are doing it right, then get
someone to watch you, or film yourself to double
check that you are performing your deadlifts
correctly.

Technique is crucial as deadlifts done correctly can


produce a lot of HGH and that is what we are aiming to
do.

Equipment

Olympic bar

This is probably the best piece of equipment for deadlifts

as it is perfect in terms of being great for technique and
also for grip due to the width of the bar.

If you have access to a gym then you should easily be

able to get hold of one of these. It is also possible to buy
one for home use.

*Remember to load up an equal amount of weight on

either side. Only you will know what is the best weight for
you.

If you don’t have access to an Olympic bar or a gym, don’t


panic as you can still do these from home.

Bar with weights

You can use a generic weight bar, that you can buy quite
cheaply for home use. This is smaller than the Olympic
bar, but it is still great for doing deadlifts.

*Remember to load up an equal amount of weight on


either side. Only you will know what is the best weight for
you.

Why Deadlifts?

When a deadlift is done correctly it is an exercise that


works a multitude of muscles all at once and because the

work of the exercise is spread over the whole body it


keeps the stress off of any one single joint or muscle,
while at the same time making your whole system strong
because of the load that you are lifting.

When using the correct technique every muscle and joint


that is used during the deadlift receives precisely the right
amount of pressure due to the even spread of weight. The

synergy created with using all these muscles working
together not only gives you a great workout, but also
produces a lot of HGH.

Common Myth
It is commonly believed that a deadlift is a dangerous
movement used by lifters who don’t care about

themselves.
This is in fact very false. The deadlift replicates the
movement that we use constantly in our lives. The most
natural movement of lifting. And when done correctly it
actively strengthens your whole body.

Bonus Benefit:

Deadlifts are a great fat burner and they strengthen


muscles and core stability.
