undeniably influenced by
the West. In fact, our
command of the English
language is exceptional.
4. Adaptability The term "Bahala Na" is a
popular phrase used by
Filipinos to mean that we
have a strong belief in a
higher power and that we
leave fate to forces beyond
our control.
5. Religious Filipino religion is heavily
influenced by the
Spaniards, and we are
Asia's only Christian
nation.
6. Family-oriented Filipinos place a high value
on family and have close
family ties.
