Family Orientation

Filipinos are noted for their strong and
intimate bonds to their families. They hold
their family in high regard and prioritize them
above all else. They labor all day and do
everything in their power to feed and care for
their family. In other nations, once a person
reaches the age of 18, he or she is free to live
independently of his or her family.
Joy and humour
The capacity of Filipinos to find humour

in everything is a well-known trait. It
highlights Filipinos' optimism and
enthusiasm in whatever situation they
find themselves in, allowing them to
persevere in the face of adversity. It's a
coping mechanism, similar to how a
toddler who has fallen laughs at
themselves to cover his or her
embarrassment.
Flexibility, adaptability, and creativity
Flexibility, adaptability, and creativity are all

important qualities. Filipinos have a
remarkable ability to shift and adapt to
changing conditions and their physical and
social environments. Unexpected and
unanticipated situations are never too
upsetting or confusing for the Filipino, who
can adapt to whatever happened.
Religious adherence

The Philippines takes pride in being Asia's
sole Christian country. More than 86 percent
of the population is Roman Catholic, 6% is
affiliated with various nationalized Christian
cults, and 2% is affiliated with one of more
than 100 Protestant denominations.
Ability to survive
Filipinos have a natural propensity to survive,

as seen by our ability to persevere in the face
of adversity and our ability to make do with
very little. Filipinos make do with what they
can find in their surroundings, including eking
out a living from a waste dump. This survival
drive is linked to Filipinos who heroically
persevere in the face of adversity, both
economically and socially. Regrettably, one
wonders what we may be capable of if we
were in a better position.
Hard work and industriousness
Industry and hard work. Given the right

circumstances, Filipinos are capable of
putting in long hours. The desire to
improve one's standard of living and
provide for one's family, paired with the
correct opportunities and incentives, drives
the Filipino to work extremely hard. The
willingness to take risks is the most visible
manifestation of this.
Hospitality
Hospitality. This is the most popular
language used to describe how Filipinos
greet visitors from other countries.
Accepting foreign guests and developing
true relationships and friendships with
them is a pleasure and an honor for
Filipinos.
