1). The environment
 The environment should be kept clean, free of hazardous waste from
company remains- such as left over scraps of materials.
 Avoid dumping waste materials in rivers, dams and nearby streams as
this will cause water pollution. Polluted water becomes harmful to
animals in the locality such as cows goats and wild beasts and people as
they drink the water from polluted sources.
 Avoid burning waste eg Bata shoe company used to burn animal skin left
overs in the local area producing bad smell .it was also throwing those
skins in dumping site leaving then to just rote there this was bad
practice.
 These dumping sites when burnt cause death to humans and animals as
they are trapped by underneath burning fires which is vey dangerous
 People should find better ways of disposing their waste from their
companies to keep the environment safe
 Companies can practice zero waste during laying and cutting out
 They can also practice recycling of the waste and donating waste fabrics
to others who may be in need eg fabric scrapes can be used to make
door mats
Culture
 Fashion forecasters should consult each customer and create designs
fabrics, colours and styles, trimmings that suit an individual’s culture eg,
Ndebele, Shona, Ndau and the Tonga.
 Each culture have some norms and beliefs that needs to be considered
by fashion designers for them to accept those design forecasted.
 Some religious groups have some does and don’t’s for example the
Mwazha people put on long dresses with full sleeves and a duki all the
time in plain colours. Johani Marange religious group put on white
garments both men and women.
