may irritate them.
Eye care • Use your own personal face towel.
• Do not rub your eyes with your
hands, or fingers or dirty cloth.

• Wipe the outer ear with a wash cloth or
tissue.
• Use the proper gentle earbuds for cleaning
and removing ear wax.
• Do not use bobby pins, toothpicks or any
sharp objects to clean your ears.
• Consult a physician if you feel anything
unusual with your ears.
Ear care
• Take medications that are prescribed by
doctors only.
• Clean earrings and earlobes regularly with
alcohol.
• Volume should be comfortable when using
headphones or headsets.
• Brush teeth every after meal.
• Floss teeth once a day.
• Clean tongue with tongue cleaner daily.
• Take dietary supplements rich in Vitamin
D, B, C, , magnesium and zinc.
Oral hygiene • Avoid junk foods.

• Dentures and retainers must be kept

• Avoid biting or chewing stubborn meat or
other food or objects.

Body skin care

• Do not wear unwashed clothes when reporting to work.
• Always clean wounds.
• Wear just the right amount of clothing for good ventilation and
convenience.
• Refrain from wearing somebody else’s clothes.
• Use a good body lotion to moisturize your skin.

companies are very strict about this.

• Males should not have nail polish while females should use subtle
colored nail polish.
Feet and toenails care
• Wash feet and toenails before going to bed.
• Cut toenails at least twice a month
• Massage feet vigorously with lotion, oil, olive leaf extract or foot
scrub.
• Do not wear socks or shoes when you have wet or damp feet.
• Do not wear very tight shoes.
• Clean and disinfect shoes regularly.
• Always wear clean socks.
• Use antifungal powder when your have athlete’s foot.
• Do not dip feet into floodwater as one may contract leptospirosis.
• Apply a moisturizing lotion after bathing.
Feminine hygiene
• Wash regularly the reproductive organ.
• Always wear fresh and clean underwear.
• Feel breasts regularly and check for lumps.
• Do not wear tight underwear.
• Always wear protection (sanitary napkins/tampons) during menstruation
and check regularly if it needs to be changed.
• Observe proper disposal of sanitary napkins and tampons.
• Never sleep overnight with a tampon inserted into the vagina.
• Do not touch the vagina with dirty, unwashed hands.
• Trim pubic hair regularly or if preferred, get it waxed.
• Consult a gynecologist for any discomfort.
Masculine hygiene
• Wash the penis everyday with soap and water.
• Wear fresh and clean underwear everyday.
• If briefs irritate groins , medicate jock itch and shift to boxer shorts.
• Dry completely penis and groins before wearing underwear.
• Wash hands thoroughly before and after holding penis.
• Do not resort to penis piercing.
• Do not control urge to urinate.
• Refrain from wearing very tight underwear or pants to allow the genitals to
ventilate.
• Refrain from putting electronic gadgets inside pockets where they could barely
brush with genitals.
• Trim pubic hair regularly.
• See a urologist for any signs of discomfort.
Grooming for men and women
• Hair
Always comb/brush hair away from face.
Keep hairstyle simple and conservative (buns or ponytail for
females, businessman’s cut for males)
Hair should not cover any part of face.
Use appropriate styling gel or mousse according to your
needs.
Use natural color of hair dyes (not loud and assorted colors.)
Have a haircut regularly
Apply light make up during the day or
when working outdoors.
Moderate make-up when working
indoors and dim workplaces.
Consider shape, contours and skin tone

Women’s wardrobe : General tips
• Women with darker skin tones: plum, lavender, soft neutrals and pastels
• Women with fair skin tone: black, gray, and red
• Contrast dark skin with eye-catching colors.
• Keep one or two pairs of pants, one should be black.
• Do not wear dark underwear when wearing a white dress or pants.
• Make sure that your panties are not noticeable when wearing tight pants or
skirts, otherwise use seamless panties.
• Avoid skirts with long slits on the side, back, or front.
• Avoid wearing micro-mini skirts.
• Avoid wearing dresses/blouses with plunging necklines.
• Stockings should be closest to one’s skin tone.
• Never wear stockings with the runs.
• Petite Women
If you have short neck : no high collared clothes and short
necklaces
Do not wear overall prints; wear prints that will catch more
attention to your figure’s assets.
• Tall Women
Wear tops over pants and skirts
Not too tight big belts
Avoid wearing very short and very long skirts.
• Pear-shaped Women
Vertical lines will slim you down.
Lighter-colored top and darker bottom.
Avoid tapered skirts, free flowing A-line skirts and dresses are
recommended.
Men’s wardrobe
• Well-tailored business suit, white shirt and a solid silk necktie.
• Invest in white shirts and a number of light colored shirts (long sleeves and short
sleeves)
• Refrain from wearing black, dark, or very bright colored and shirts with bold and
eccentric designs in the office.
• Have well-tailored slacks, one black and the rest should be dark colors of your
choice.
• Make sure tie does not clash with shirt.
• A matching handkerchief
• Plenty of black socks and a few dark colored ones.
• No necktie with loose or baggy shirts.
• Do not fold sleeves, loosed necktie or turn up collar.
• Colors influence perception on how you present yourself.

may be used is THREE.

preventing disease, especially through cleanliness.

• Use a coaster or napkin when serving drinks to customers at the reception desk or
lounge.

• Clean office equipment daily with clean cloth (with appropriate cleaning
agent)
• Refrain from eating meals on your desk. If you don not have a cafeteria or
pantry area, cover desk with used or recycled paper.
• Do not leave food in the office overnight
• do not enter the office when area is being cleaned by the cleaners.
• Clean the file storage areas at all times.
• Schedule a general cleaning once or twice a month.
• Report to maintenance department or a pest control technician any
sighting of possible termite infestation.

• Collect all trash in guest room daily.
• Use tongs when digging or handling into trash cans. Beware of broken glasses and syringes.
• Wear latex gloves , especially when handling strong cleaning materials and linens with blood stains.
• Be careful when cleaning mirrors and glass fixtures.
• Start with the bathroom and work your way towards the main door.
• Make sure the you have clean footwear to prevent shoe stains on floor.
• Report to maintenance department open electrical wires, broke electrical appliances or fixtures,
grounded equipment or surfaces, clogged drainage pipes, toilet or bathroom leaks , broken furniture
or anything that needs repair.

• Close the toilet and bathroom during cleaning hours.
• Always wipe dry wet surfaces.
• Disinfect the toilet daily.
• Ensure that toilet equipment or gadgets ( hand dryer, soap dispenser, etc.) are in good
working condition.

• Hands should be washed with soap briskly for 20 seconds and with warm
water.
• Prepare the mise en place daily and cover them to prevent pests from
contaminating them.
• Sweep and mop food spills at once.
• Change tablecloths and placemats after every customer.
• Refrain from doing any unhygienic mannerisms.
• Leftovers by guests requested to be packed for takeout should be
presentable.
• Clean up the work area before leaving.
