 Our Favorite Sports

Oscar: Hello guys! I was thinking that we should focus on some of the most popular

sports in Peru for our television presentation. In my opinion, soccer and volleyball are

definitely at the top of the list. It's widely played and followed by many Peruvians. I

personally prefer team sports like soccer of the camaraderie and teamwork involved.

Braulio, what do you think?

Braulio: I totally agree with you, Oscar. Soccer and volleyball are huge in Peru. But I

would also like to add that basketball has many followers, especially among young

people. And let's not forget individual sports like surfing. Personally, I lean more towards

team sports. Nilber, what is your opinion about popular sports in Peru?

Nilber: Well, I think we should mention sports like indoor soccer and field hockey, most of

them are gaining popularity in Peru. And when it comes to individual sports, track and field

and marathon running have a strong following. Playing any of them would be very fun,

what do you say Oscar?

Oscar: Yes, I agree with you. Changing the subject, can we conclude that Soccer and

volleyball are the most popular sports in Peru?

Braulio: Totally. Both are widely practiced sports, and we should talk about them on TV
