1.1 Objective:
To design 5 level, 7 level and 9 level mltilevel inverters for RES applications.

1.2 Problem Statement:


Design 5 level, 7 level and 9 level mltilevel inverters and observe their output waveforms.

1.4 Methodology:
 Design the simulation model of 5 level, 7 level and 9 level multilevel inverters .
 Set the required phase delay, pulse width and time period.
 Observe the output waveform.

1.7 Conclusion
Thus, the simulation of 5 level, 7 level and 9 level mltilevel inverters have been performed and their
output waveforms have been observed.

1.8 Inference
 This Simulink experiment provides valuable insights into the design and control principles of
multilevel inverters for RES applications.
 By analyzing the inverter’s output voltage waveform and THD, researchers can compare its
performance with traditional inverters and determine its effectiveness in mitigating harmonic
distortion.
 This knowledge can inform the development of improved control strategies and inverter
topologies for cleaner and more efficient integration of renewable energy sources into the power
grid.
