Digimon League Rules Charter

GENERAL

Thank you for your interest in the Top Deck BT11 Digimon League, the first and most important rule is
locals are meant to be a fun place to experiment with decks. With this in mind anyone who berates or
generally goes out of their way to worsen their opponent’s (or a leaguemate’s opponent) experience
because of this league will be issued one warning. Then if they repeat this offense they will be removed
from the league and not refunded any of their league dues.

PAYMENT (DUES)

Each week before locals start any person interested in joining the league or having their tournament
points count for the night’s tournament must tell me in person or message me BEFORE the start of the
tournament. Due will cost $2 to earn points for the night. I prefer cash payments but will accept PayPal
also. If a player would like to “prepay” for future tournaments they are welcomed to do so. If you
“prepay” I will assume any future tournament you play in will count towards your point total until your
balance reaches 0.

PRIZING

Prizing will be purchased 2 weeks before the end of the season from tcgplayer.com. I will poll the top 5
players in points at that time for cards they want. I will be aiming to focus the prizing on tournament
cards (event packs, Grand Prix, and regionals) i.e. cards we don’t normally have access to. I will purchase
cards as close as I can get to the assumed final total of the prize pool. Whatever money is leftover will be
rolled into the new season.

Prizing will be broken down as follows

1st – 50%

2nd – 30%

3rd – 20%

POINTS

Points are calculated as follows:

Each player in a tournament will earn "League Points":

All players will receive one "Participation Point"

All players will earn "Place Points" that will be equal to the inverse of their finish position in the
tournament

All players are guaranteed a minimum of 2 "League Points"

Each player that finishes the top three (top four if 16 or more players attend) will earn additional "Bonus
Points":
These players will each earn a "Position Bonus" that will be three times the inverse of their finish
position in the winning positions

The tournament winner gets a "Winner Bonus" equal to the number of tournament entries plus the
number of paying positions
