Discussed

Narrative Report for the Day:

Today, I was assigned to discuss the topic of Bias and Prejudice. I'm very happy
because my cooperating teacher told me “You can do it!” so, I earned the confidence
before I started the class.

For my first class, I knew that there were so many lapses when I started teaching in
front of my class. Because my wording and explanations were not very prepared,
making a detailed lesson plan was not easy for me, and before this day happened I
had an emotional breakdown.

But, I want to thank God because despite my struggles in this journey his presence is
still with me. Aside from that after all of my duties to all sections, my cooperating
teacher commended me for what I accomplished.

Narrative Report for the Day:

Since I already finished discussing bias and prejudice, today my task is to have a
recap on what we talked about the last day. But, before that I divided them into 3
groups and I call them Click 1,2,3. This kind of technique will be able to get their
attention so that they can listen to me properly.

About the recap, I asked them about the common types of biases and prejudices and
I’m very happy because they’re able to know and understand our lesson. After all,
when I told them to write it on the board, they got the correct answers.

After the recap, I Also prepare 10 questions for their quiz. I think the recap that we did
is will help them to have a high score and able to answer my quiz correctly.

we have classroom management. Pray, Greet, Align chairs pick the trash under that
chair, and also have a recap.

Before telling them I also prepared the energizer which is called “Fruit Salad Dance”
and I was very happy because they enjoyed that. So, after I told them about the task.

Today is the presentation of their role play, I’m very happy because even though they
were given a short period they were able to bring their costumes and props.
After watching all of their performances, I gave my comments and grades about what
they performed. Also, I already gave them the floor to grade each group and rate the
performances 1 to 10.

Weekly Reflection:
During my student teaching experience, I focused on connecting with students and
forming partnerships with them. I believe that a properly student-centered classroom
respects students' identities while also incorporating student voice and choice. My
mentor professors influenced this focus. They interacted with students in various but
significant ways.
