Dear Ma’am JOAQUIN:

This is in response to your letter dated October 17, 2023, requesting for the construction of a
Super Health Unit at the Municipality of GIDA composing of 30 barangays. While this is true,
that matters concerning the establishment of Health Units is foremost very important and urgent
concerning our Filipino people and giving them an accessible and quality health services, but this
process undergo an excessive step.

We follow the the guidelines for the procurement and implementation of HFEP funded projects
as prescribe by RA No. 11465 known as the General Appropriations Act where the general
funds will be sub allotted accordingly to the approved budget per request and as to the number of
projects be implemented by the stakeholders.

In this case your request will be forwarded/endorsed to the Health Facility Development
Bureau (HFDU) which therefore assess and approve your request. Upon approval your request
will now be added to the HFEP National Expenditure Proposal on the year 2025.

For the time being, let us wait for the favorable response of HFDU and once approved the
request for the construction of the Super RHU will immediately be added to our NEP 2025.
