Summary Terms and Conditions of Maxis
Services (“Summary”)

Your Agreement with Maxis comprises the General Terms and Conditions ("GTC"), Service Specific Terms &
Conditions (“SSTC”), this STC, Maxis Fair Usage Policy, policies and procedures related to a particular Service,
Registration Form and any addendum(s) (“Agreement”). GTC, SSTC, this STC and Maxis Fair Usage Policy are all
located on our official website at www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/.

This Summary highlights some of the important terms of the Agreement only. When you purchase and use the
Maxis Service(s), the Agreement in its entirety (and not just this Summary) applies to you. Please read and
understand the contents of the Agreement in its entirety. Terms used in this Summary will have the same meaning
as defined in the GTC. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between the Summary and the GTC, the GTC
will prevail.

Your Personal Information:

You confirm and agree and give your consent to Maxis to process your Personal Information/ Personal Data
pursuant to Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and Maxis Group Privacy Notice
at https://www.maxis.com.my/privacy-statement/. Call us at 1800 82 1123 or +603-74922123 or call 123 (if you are an
existing customer) or e-mail us at customercare@maxis.com.my if you need a copy or should you have any queries
in relation to Maxis Group Privacy Notice.

Your obligations when you use the Service(s):

You must:

comply with the Agreement in its entirety;

comply with all applicable laws of Malaysia and instructions issued by us from time to time;

promptly pay the Charges in full without deduction;

protect Our Equipment, Your Equipment, data and network;

not disclose your Log On Details to others;

not use the Service(s): -

i. to send spam, unsolicited messages (including SMS' and emails), and messages against
public interest;

ii. for re-sale unless permitted by Maxis;

iii. for fraudulent, unlawful, illegal and improper purpose such as gambling, vice, porn,
infringement of intellectual property rights, publishing any defamatory or abusive material;

iv. for any activity which is likely to cause Network congestion; and

v. in contravention of any usage policies which may be stipulated by Maxis from time to time.

The Service(s) we supply, our liability and what you can expect of us:

Our Service(s) may not be available everywhere. Please check Our Network coverage area on our official website
at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/broadband/maxis-fibre/#fibre-checker for Maxis Fibre. Whilst we will make every
attempt to provide a fault free service, the Service(s) are not fault free from Matters Beyond Our Reasonable
Control. We are not liable to you or any other party, in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise for any
loss or damage that you may suffer in connection with the Service(s).

Change of Service plan:

Request for a change of Service plan is based on our approval and at your cost.

Goods and Services Tax (“GST”) Provisions:


We will provide you with a tax invoice if GST is applicable

When we can suspend or terminate your Service(s):

We may suspend or terminate your Service(s) in a number of circumstances, including but not limited to where you
breach Our Agreement, late payment, Network related issues (including emergencies), or use the Service(s) for
improper or illegal purposes or for damaging our Network. If the Service(s) is/are suspended or terminated, you
must still pay all outstanding Charges and charges for Service(s) reconnection.

What we can do in relation to the Service(s):

We may from time to time make any changes to our terms and conditions of the Agreement, including revising the
Charges.

What we can do in relation to the Mobile Device(s) under our Mobile Device ownership or Mobile Device leasing
programme:

We may block the device in the event you are suspected or found to be committed of fraud, you report to us that
the relevant device is missing or has been stolen and requested us to block the device. We may incrementally or
progressively suspend and/or block the Services and/or usage of the relevant Mobile Device if you default in the
payment of the Charges.

Complaints:

We appreciate any feedback about our Service(s), and are committed to resolving problems or complaints quickly.

You acknowledge that you have been provided with and have read and understood the Agreement in its entirety,
and you agree to the terms and conditions of the Agreement.
Service Specific Terms & Conditions ("SSTC") -
Hotlink Postpaid 30, 45, 60 and 70

General

1. The Plan(s): Hotlink Postpaid 30, Hotlink Postpaid 45, Hotlink Postpaid 60 and/or Hotlink Postpaid 70.

2. You:Person(s) signing up for the Plan(s) from 18 January 2024 (“Commencement Date”).

3. The use of the Plan(s) and Service(s) is subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”) at
https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/general/, this Service Specific Terms & Conditions
(“SSTC”), Maxis Fair Usage Policy and any other applicable terms and conditions, all at
https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/.

4. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.

5. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”),
shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC.

6. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, the Plan(s) and our pricing. Where
reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous
versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept you are responsible for
regularly reviewing information on the Plan(s) and Service(s)at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-
conditions/, including changes to the Agreement. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you are
required to terminate the Plan and/or the use of the Services under the Plan in accordance with this
SSTC by giving us notice within 28 days from the Effective Date failing which you are assumed to have
accepted the changes. Save where terminated based on the foregoing, any continued use of the
Service(s), and/or the Plan (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions
of the Agreement, Services, and/or Plan) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such
revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same.

Eligibility

7. The Plan(s) is only eligible for individuals aged 18 and above.

8. This Plan(s) is available for new and existing Hotlink Postpaid customers, Mobile Number Portability
(MNP) customers or customers requesting for change rate plan from Hotlink Postpaid 40.

9. You are ineligible for this Plan(s) if you owe us any payments.

10. This Plan(s) is inapplicable to you if you are a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber.

11. We reserve the right to alter the eligibility criteria at any time.

Charges

12. The monthly fee and Charges for the mobile internet package allocation, voice and SMS details are
stated in Appendix A a n d a l s o p u b l i s h e d o n o u r o f f i c i a l w e b s i t e
at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/products/postpaid/, which may be updated by us from time to time.
Charges published are exclusive of any applicable taxes.

Deposit & Billing

13. A deposit of RM150 is chargeable to non-Malaysians or foreigners subscribing for the Plan(s).

14. Non-payment for any one of the Plan(s) may result in suspension or barring of all the Services until the
outstanding amount is paid.

Unlimited Minutes and SMS’

15. You acknowledge and accept, for the voice and SMS’ allocated with the Plan(s), the unlimited minutes
and SMS':
a. applies to domestic mobile/fixed ON-net usage (Maxis to Maxis calls and SMS’) & OFF-net
usage (calls and SMS’ from Maxis to other Service Provider) for the Plan (excluding, video
calls, calls to numbers with special charges e.g. 1-300/1-700/600, 121, TM100, 1MOCC, 02-
prefix numbers for IDD calls to Singapore & 080-prefix numbers for border calls to Brunei).
b. are for standard person-to-person calls or texts and not for any commercial and/ or non-
personal usage; and
c. is NOT meant for multiple simultaneous calling, conference calling (unless you are subscribed
to the conference calling service with Maxis), re-supply, call centre usage, telemarketing, bulk
messaging, application-to-person communication, continuously call forwarding, auto-dialing,
machine-to-machine communication (including by using your SIM card in any other devices),
Cellular Trunking Units (CTUs), or any other activity we consider to be non-standard usage.

Mobile Internet Package allocation

16. For internet data allocated with the Plan(s), you acknowledge and accept that:
a. You will experience internet data browsing at reduced speeds and with no excess charges if
any usage exceeds the allocated mobile internet data;
b. The mobile internet data allocated within the Plan(s) is for domestic usage and Roam-Like-
Home (as referred in Clause 18) only;
c. You may purchase one-time passes to add more data (non-recurring) BEFORE you exceed
your mobile internet data allocation. Such upgrade is available through your UMB, Hotlink
app or Hotlink self-serve channel, all accessible through your Mobile Device or other
available Devices or channels as we may inform you from time to time.
d. You can opt for upgrades or downgrades of the Plan(s) at any Maxis stores or call our Contact
Centres (123) from your mobile;
e. If you upgrade or downgrade your existing Plan(s) to another Plan(s), your monthly
commitment fee will be pro-rated against your billing cycle date. You will be charged the full
commitment fee from the second month onwards but with full mobile internet package
allocation from the first month.

Roaming

17. The rates outlined in Appendix A do not account for usages while on an overseas roaming network.
Whilst roaming overseas, the prevailing data roaming charges at

Roam-Like-Home with Hotlink Postpaid 70

18. Roam-Like-Home is exclusive for Hotlink Postpaid 70 and activation of Hotlink Postpaid 70 plan will
automatically activate ‘Roam-Like-Home’ service that allows you to roam once the data usage is
detected on Maxis’ overseas roaming network in any ‘Roam-Like-Home’ countries such as in
Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia (“Roam-Like-Home Eligible Countries”).

19. ‘Roam-Like-Home’ service in Roam-Like-Home Eligible Countries is without any charges.

20. Mobile Internet data in Roam-Like-Home Eligible Countries is based on the monthly mobile internet
package allocated for Hotlink Postpaid 70 plan.

21. If mobile internet package allocation is fully utilized while roaming under ‘Roam-Like-Home’, you will
be notified via SMS on the same and the mobile internet speed will be throttled. You may purchase
additional data roaming passes via Hotlink app or by dialing *100# to continue roaming at high-speed.

22. ‘Roam-Like-Home’ service does not include voice calls, SMS, call divert and call forwarding. Any of

https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/services/roaming-pass/ for more information.

23. Maxis reserves the rights and discretion to determine, modify, change, suspend or terminate the
“Roam-Like-Home” service under this Plan from time to time.

5G Service(s), Availability and Usage

24. In order to use 5G service(s) under this Plan(s), you must: -


a. have a 5G capable, supported and enabled Mobile Device to access/ utilize the 5G network.
Please check the latest list of 5G capable, supported and enabled Mobile Device at
https://www.maxis.com.my/en/about-maxis/5g-network/#eligible-devices which list may be
updated from time to time. A 5G software update from the device manufacturer may be
required which will not be the responsibility of Maxis;
b. located within the 5G network coverage area. A map of 5G network coverage area can be
found at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/about-maxis/5g-network/#5g-map; and
c. have a 4G LTE enabled SIM. You may check your SIM status by dialing this code *100*8*5#
from your phone.

25. The 5G service(s) is only available within the 5G network area via use of a 5G capable, supported and
enabled Mobile Device. When you are located outside the 5G network coverage area, you’ll
automatically switch to any of our other available networks.
Restrictions and Exclusion of Liability When Using 5G

26. Maxis does not represent, warrant, undertake and/or guarantee that the 5G service(s) will be: -

a. provided without errors;


b. uninterrupted; and/or
c. that your experience of the existing services which you are subscribing from Maxis on our other
available networks will not be impacted in an adverse manner,

and that Maxis will and is able to correct or rectify all or any part of the errors, interruption or such
adverse impact to the existing services. You understand and acknowledge that the services offered
pursuant to the 5G service(s) may be subject to limitations, delays and other problems inherent in
communication facilities and network and or the third party 5G network, including the internet and Maxis
shall not be responsible to you and/or any third party for any delays, delivery, failures, or other damage
or loss resulting from or in connection with such problems.

27. Without derogating from the disclaimers and limitation of liability under the GTC which are applicable
to you, Maxis makes no representation or give any condition, indemnity, warranty, guarantee, whether
express or implied, about whether the services offered pursuant to the 5G service(s) will operate and
be compatible with any Content, Equipment, hardware or software or that it will be compatible with the
national 5G wholesale network. You acknowledge and agree that Maxis relies on one or more third
party service providers in relation to the 5G service(s) (including its availability and continuity) and as
such, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Maxis excludes any liability and shall not be liable to you
and/or any third parties whether in contract, tort or otherwise for any loss, damage or liability incurred
or sustained by you and/or any third party (including loss of revenue or loss of services or connectivity)
caused by or in relation to any delay, failure, breakdown, inability to use or access, interruption or
disruption by any of our third party service providers including Maxis’ third party service provider of the
national 5G wholesale network or in respect of interruption or adverse impact to existing services
subscribed from Maxis arising from your purchase of the 5G service(s).

28. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this SSTC, you acknowledge and agree that: -

a. you have not relied on any representation, warranty, statement or similar made by Maxis’ third
party service provider of the national 5G wholesale network in connection with your decision to
use or the manner in which you will make use of the 5G service(s) including where such 5G
service(s) is provided to you as part of products or services (or bundled products or services) by
Maxis;
b. you are solely responsible for your decision to use, and the manner in which you will make use
of, the 5G service(s) and does so at your own risk (including where the 5G service(s) is used in
connection with the preservation of life or property);
c. you are solely responsible for making your own decisions on appropriate alternative
redundancy, connectivity and data solutions in the event the 5G service(s) is unavailable,
disrupted or operate with error;
d. the 5G service(s) will not necessarily operate without error and will not always be available;
e. Maxis’ third party service provider of the national 5G wholesale network does not owe you any
duty of care or similar duty and you release Maxis’ third party service provider of the national
5G wholesale network from any liability arising from your use of the 5G service(s); and
f. you must not do anything that may interfere with Maxis’ third party service provider of the
national 5G wholesale network and/or connect or knowingly permit any third party to connect
any equipment to the 5G network.

Things we may do to the Service(s)

29. We reserve the rights at any time at our sole discretion whether with or without notice to you and
without being liable to you and/or any third party, to immediately interrupt, bar, suspend or restrict the
Plan (including 5G service(s)) for such time as we see fit, withdraw or terminate, discontinue or
disconnect the services including if:

a. any technical failure occurs in services pursuant to the Network (which includes any network
operated by any third party which are connected to Maxis’ network);
b. the services pursuant to the 5G services(s), our Network or systems are being upgraded,
modified or maintained;
c. your usage shows excessive usage or placing unusual burdens on our Network;
d. in our determination that the Plan is or may be used by you for unlawful activities or for
suspected fraudulent activities;
e. your usage is not in accordance with the Maxis Fair Usage Policy (at maxis.com.my/FUP) or
contrary to any of the terms and conditions of this SSTC and/or the GTC;
f. is for commercial/non-personal purposes;
g. where matters beyond our reasonable control prevents us from performing and/ or continuing
our obligations this SSTC, the GTC and/or the Maxis Fair Usage Policy;
h. you have relocated or have been relocated to an area outside the 5G network coverage area;
or
i. we are required to do so by law, statute, enactment, regulations, code or by any relevant
authorities, including the Maxis’ third party service provider of the national 5G wholesale
network,

and where no prior notice is provided, Maxis may to the extent commercially reasonably practicable give
you notice of such changes in any form as Maxis deem reasonable or appropriate.
30. If you change your current rate plan to the new Hotlink Postpaid plan, all promotions/ benefits that you
are currently enjoying under your existing rate plan will be forfeited and you will not be able to carry
forward any promotions/benefits to your new Hotlink Postpaid plan.

31. In connection to any Hotlink Postpaid Plan(s) survey, comments, suggestions and/or feedback
submitted by you to Maxis, you agree that Maxis may use all comments, suggestions and feedback
collected in any manner without restriction or obligation for any purpose, including but not limited to
incorporation or implementation of such comments, suggestions and feedback into Maxis’ product or
service, to develop, improve and/or evaluate the Plan(s). Except for personal data, no comments,
suggestions and/or feedback will be deemed as your confidential information.

Termination

32. Subject to our GTC, a principal line holder may at any time terminate the Plan(s) as follows:

a. By calling our customer care line at 1-800-82-1123 or dial 123 from your mobile;
b. By walking into our Maxis Centres listed on www.maxis.com.my; or
c. By writing in to customercare@maxis.com.my

Limited time Promotion for Hotlink Postpaid 70

33. From the Commencement Date, until 30th June 2024 (“Promotion Period”), upon signing up for Hotlink
Postpaid 70 plan, you may enjoy RM10 bill rebate (“Rebate”) for a period of six (6) months (“Your
Rebate Period”). Rebate will be reflected in your Hotlink postpaid bill from the second (2nd) month
onwards.

34. From the day immediately following the end of Your Rebate Period, your monthly fee and charges will
revert back to RM70 per month for Hotlink Postpaid 70 plan.

General

2. Hotlink Participating Plan(s): Hotlink Postpaid 60 or Hotlink Postpaid 70.

acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept
such revisions/changes, you will terminate the Plan(s) and/or the use of the Services by giving us notice
within twenty-eight (28) days from the Effective Date failing which you are assumed to have accepted
the changes.

Eligibility

9. This Offer is only eligible for:


1. new subscribers who port-in to Hotlink and sign up Hotlink Participating Plan;
2. existing subscribers who upgrade to Hotlink Participating Plan; or
3. existing subscribers who opt for Service Migration from Hotlink prepaid to Hotlink postpaid
and sign up Hotlink Participating Plan.

10. This Offer is only valid for account activations made within the states of Kelantan, Pahang, and
Terengganu during the Offer Period.

11. This Offer is only applicable if you subscribe for the Hotlink Participating Plan on a standalone basis,
and will not be applicable if you sign up the Hotlink Participating Plan with any mobile device contract.

12. Unless otherwise authorised by us, this Offer is not stackable with any other bill rebate(s) from us
during and after activation of the Hotlink Participating Plan you signed up for pursuant to this SSTC.
You are responsible to check and confirm your continuous enjoyment over this Offer prior to signing
up any other offers made available or campaign oraganised by us from time to time.

13. Notwithstanding the above, your eligibility is subject to our absolute discretion. Maxis reserves the
right to review your eligibility for this Offer every twelve (12) months and/or change the eligibility
criteria for this Offer from time to time. Should Maxis find that you no longer fulfil or meet the
applicable eligibility criteria, you shall cease to enjoy the Offer and Maxis shall be entitled to cancel or
terminate the Offer accordingly.

The Offer

14. In order for you to receive and continuously enjoy the Offer, you must:
a. fulfil the criteria set out in Clause 9 to Clause 11 above; and
b. maintain an active account with the Hotlink Participating Plan.

15. There shall be no minimum commitment period over the Hotlink Participating Plan you sign up for
pursuant to this SSTC. Maxis reserves the rights to terminate this Offer any time with reasonable notice
given to you.

16. During the period of which you enjoy the Offer, you shall not:
a. terminate your Hotlink mobile account which you used to sign up for the Hotlink Participating
Plan;
b. port out to another mobile service provider;
c. suspend your Hotlink mobile account you used to sign up for the Hotlink Participating Plan;
d. have your Hotlink mobile account which you used to sign up for the Hotlink Participating Plan
terminated for non-payment of monthly bills;
e. sign up for any mobile device contract using the Hotlink mobile account which you used to
sign up for the Hotlink Participating Plan;
f. downgrade or upgrade from the Hotlink Participating Plan;
g. move outside of Kelantan, Pahang or Terengganu (wherever you activated your Hotlink

reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous
versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept you are responsible for
regularly reviewing information on the Hotlink Participating Plan and Service(s)
at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/, including changes to the Agreement. Your
continued use of the Service(s), and/or plan(s) (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the
terms and conditions of the Agreement, Services, and/or plan(s)) shall constitute unconditional
acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept
such revisions/changes, you will terminate the Plan(s) and/or the use of the Services by giving us notice
within twenty-eight (28) days from the Effective Date failing which you are assumed to have accepted
the changes.

Eligibility

9. This Offer is only eligible for:


1. new subscribers who port-in to Hotlink and sign up Hotlink Participating Plan;
2. existing subscribers who upgrade to Hotlink Participating Plan; and/or
3. existing subscribers who opt for Service Migration from Hotlink prepaid to Hotlink postpaid
and sign up Hotlink Participating Plan.

10. This Offer is only valid for account activations made within the states of Sabah and Sarawak during the
Offer Period.

11. This Offer is only applicable if you subscribe for the Hotlink Participating Plan on a standalone basis,
and will not be applicable if you sign up the Hotlink Participating Plan with any mobile device contract.

12. Unless otherwise authorised by us, this Offer is not stackable with any other bill rebate(s) from us
during and after activation of the Hotlink Participating Plan you signed up for pursuant to this SSTC.
You are responsible to check and confirm your continuous enjoyment over this Offer prior to signing
up any other offers made available or campaign oraganised by us from time to time.

13. Notwithstanding the above, your eligibility is subject to our absolute discretion. Maxis reserves the
right to review your eligibility for this Offer every twelve (12) months and/or change the eligibility
criteria for this Offer from time to time. Should Maxis find that you no longer fulfil or meet the
applicable eligibility criteria, you shall cease to enjoy the Offer and Maxis shall be entitled to cancel or
terminate the Offer accordingly.

The Offer

14. In order for you to receive and continuously enjoy the Offer, you must:
a. fulfil the criteria set out in Clause 9 to Clause 11 above; and
b. maintain an active account with the Hotlink Participating Plan.

15. There shall be no minimum commitment period over the Hotlink Participating Plan you sign up for
pursuant to this SSTC. Maxis reserves the rights to terminate this Offer any time with reasonable notice
given to you.

16. During the period of which you enjoy the Offer, you shall not:
a. terminate your Hotlink mobile account which you used to sign up for the Hotlink Participating
Plan;
b. port out to another mobile service provider;
c. suspend your Hotlink mobile account you used to sign up for the Hotlink Participating Plan;
d. have your Hotlink mobile account which you used to sign up for the Hotlink Participating Plan
terminated for non-payment of monthly bills;
e. sign up for any mobile device contract using the Hotlink mobile account which you used to
sign up for the Hotlink Participating Plan;
f. downgrade or upgrade from the Hotlink Participating Plan;
g. move outside of Sabah or Sarawak (wherever you activated your Hotlink mobile account in
registering for the Hotlink Participating Plan) permanently thereby resulting you unqualify for
this Offer pursuant to Clause 10 above; and/or
h. change or transfer ownership of the Hotlink Participating Plan to any other person.

17. If any of the events in Clause 16 above occurs, Maxis shall be entitled to terminate and cancel the Offer
and in such an event, you will no longer be able to enjoy the Offer.

Offer Mechanics

14. In order for you to receive and continuously enjoy the RM10 bill rebate under Offer (1), you must:
a. fulfil the criteria set out in Clause 9 to Clause 11 above; and
b. maintain an active account with us and not terminate or cause the Participating Plan to be
terminated.

15. Unless otherwise authorised by us, the Offer is not stackable with any other bill rebate(s) or promotion
which may be offered by us.

16. We will assign the Unlimited 5G Mobile Internet pass under Offer Two (2) to you upon the activation of
the Participating Plan. You will be able to check the data usage of the Unlimited 5G Mobile Internet
Pass from your Hotlink app from the second (2nd) month onwards from the activation of the
Participating Plan.

17. The Unlimited 5G Mobile Internet pass under Offer Two (2) is subject to the following:-
a. Fair Usage Policy (FUP) of 1TB 5G mobile internet data on monthly basis. Upon the exhaustion
of the FUP 1TB 5G mobile internet data, 5G internet data will be deducted from the next
available mobile internet pass subscribed by you (if any) or pre-allocated mobile internet data
from the Hotlink Postpaid 70 plan, whichever is available.
b. The Unlimited 5G Mobile Internet pass will be assigned to you as long as your Hotlink
Postpaid 70 plan remains active for the next twenty-four (24) months from the time the
Unlimited 5G Mobile Internet pass is activated. From the twenty-fifth (25) months onwards, the
Unlimited 5G Mobile Internet pass shall cease automatically and the mobile internet under
your Hotlink Postpaid 70 plan will revert to it’s original base mobile internet data quota
allocation.
c. You will not be able to utilise the Unlimited 5G Mobile Internet pass if your Hotlink Postpaid
70 plan is barred or suspended for any reason whatsoever. In the event your Hotlink Postpaid
70 is terminated (by you or for any reason whatsoever), the Unlimited 5G Mobile Internet pass
will be cancelled automatically.
d. Unlimited 5G Mobile Internet pass is only valid for domestic 5G Internet usage only and not
applicable to international roaming.

5G Service(s), Availability and Usage

18. For 5G service(s) under Unlimited 5G Mobile Internet pass, you agree and accept that the 5G service(s)
terms and conditions as stipulated in Hotlink Postpaid 70 plan at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-
conditions/products/postpaid/hotlink-postpaid-70/ shall apply.

Termination

19. During the period of which you enjoy the Offer, you shall not:
a. terminate your Hotlink mobile account which you used to sign up for the Participating Plan;
b. port out to another mobile service provider;
c. suspend your Hotlink mobile account you used to sign up for the Participating Plan;
d. have your Hotlink mobile account which you used to sign up for the Participating Plan
terminated for non-payment of monthly bills;
e. sign up for any mobile device contract using the Hotlink mobile account which you used to
sign up for the Participating Plan;
f. downgrade or upgrade from the Participating Plan; and/or
g. change or transfer ownership of the Participating Plan to any other person.

20. If any of the events in Clause 19 above occurs, Maxis shall be entitled to terminate and cancel the Offer
and in such an event, you will no longer be able to enjoy the Offer.

21. In the event that:


a. your registered address with us has changed or such addressis not within Sabah or Sarawak
anymore; or
b. if we detect your network usage is outside Sabah or Sarawak for more than three (3) months
continuously;

you agree that you will no longer entitled to the Offer and your Hotlink Postpaid 70 plan will
revert to its original state of Services.

22. We reserve our rights to withdraw or terminate the Offer at our discretion with prior notice to you.

1. The Plan: Hotlink Postpaid 60 with either:
a. Maxis Fibre 30Mbps, 100Mbps, 300Mbps, 500Mbps or 800Mbps; OR
b. Maxis Home 4G WiFi 138;
(item (a) and (b) above are collectively referred as “Home Internet”). You will also enjoy
additional 30GB mobile postpaid data for the Hotlink Postpaid 60 under the Plan.

2. You: Person signing up for the Plan.

3. If you change your current rate plan to the Plan, you will not be able to carry forward any
promotions/benefits that you are currently enjoying under your existing rate plan to the Plan.

4. The use of the Plan and Service(s) is subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”) at
https://www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/general/maxis-consumer/, this Service Specific
Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”), Maxis Fair Usage Policy and any other applicable terms and conditions,
all at www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal.

For clarity, any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, SSTC – Hotlink Postpaid 60, SSTC – Maxis
Fibre and SSTC – Maxis Home 4G WiFi, this SSTC shall take precedence.

Availability of Service(s)
9. Maxis Fibre Service(s) is only available in certain coverage areas. Call 123 (from your mobile), 1800 82
1123 or log onto https://www.maxis.com.my/broadband/maxis-fibre/coverage/ to check if you are within
the coverage area.

10. The provision of Maxis Fibre Service(s) is contingent on your Premises being-fibre ready and having a
termination point within the Premises.

Eligibility
11. You are not eligible for this Plan if you owe us any payments.

12. The Plan is not applicable to you if you are a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber.

13. The Plan is only eligible for new activations customers for the Plan, Mobile Number Portability (MNP)
customers or customers requesting for Service Migration from prepaid.

14. You may sign-up to a maximum of two (2) Hotlink Postpaid lines per one (1) NRIC/ passport.

15. Notwithstanding the above, Maxis reserves the right to change the eligibility criteria for the Plan from
time to time.

Charges
16. The Plan's structure is published on our official website at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/plan/hotlink-
postpaid/, as updated by us from time to time.

17. The applicable Charges and rate table guide for the Plan and Service(s) under the Plan are as set out
on our official website at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/plan/hotlink-postpaid/. Charges displayed do
not include all applicable taxes.

18. You are responsible for payment of all Charges associated with the Plan and Service(s) under the Plan.

Deposit & Billing


19. A deposit of RM500 is chargeable for non-Malaysians subscribing for the Plan(s) and Service(s).

20. Non-payment for any one of the Services under the Plan may result in suspension or barring or
termination of all the Services under the Plan until the outstanding amount is paid.

Things we may do to the Service(s)


21. We reserve the rights at any time, without being liable to you or any third party, to interrupt, bar,
suspend, restrict the Service(s) under the Plan for such time as we see fit or terminate, discontinue or
disconnect any of such Service(s) if your usage:
a. shows excessive usage or placing unusual burdens on our Network;
b. is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities;
c. is not in accordance with our Fair Usage Policy at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-
conditions/hotlink/personal-hotlink-postpaid/general/maxis-fair-usage-policy/; or
d. is for commercial/non-personal purposes.

23. For data allocated with the Plan, you acknowledge and accept:
a. You will experience data browsing at reduced speeds and with no EXCESS charges if any
usage exceeds the allocated mobile internet data;
b. The mobile internet package allocated within the Plan is exclusively for domestic usage only.

24. For upgrade of postpaid service, you can opt to upgrade your Hotlink Postpaid 60 to a Maxis Postpaid
plan offered by us at any Maxis Centre or Maxis store or call 123 from mobile. If you upgrade your
Hotlink Postpaid 60 to a Maxis Postpaid plan, your monthly Charges will be pro-rated against your
billing cycle date. You will be charged the full monthly Charges from the second month onwards.

25. Upgrade or downgrade of the Maxis Fibre under this Plan is allowed. You can opt to upgrade or
downgrade your Maxis Fibre at any Maxis Centre or Maxis store or call 123 from mobile.

Roaming
26. The rates and Charges outlined in the Plan structure do not account for usages while on an overseas
roaming network. Whilst roaming overseas, the prevailing data roaming charges at
https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/lifestyle/roaming-n-idd/roaming/ apply.

Additional Features & Requirements


27. You will only be able to enjoy the benefits of the Plan after the activation of both
a. Hotlink Postpaid 60 plan; and (b) Home Internet. For clarity:
i. if for any reason, your subscribed Hotlink Postpaid 60 and/or Home Internet under
the Plan cannot be activated or installed, your registration for the Plan is deemed
unsuccessful; and
ii. if only either one of your subscribed Hotlink Postpaid 60 or Home Internet is
successfully activated or installed, you are deemed to have been registered for the
activated Service(s) only but without the benefit(s) of the Plan and the relevant SSTC
for such Service(s) will apply accordingly.

28. Upon registration and activation for the Plan, your registered Hotlink Postpaid 60 plan and Home
Internet must be kept active and cannot be suspended or terminated for whatsoever reason to enable
you to continue to enjoy the benefits under the Plan.

Termination
29. Subject to our GTC and this SSTC, a principal line holder may at any time terminate the Plan as follows:
a. by walking into our Maxis Centres listed on www.hotlink.com.my if you are subscribing to the
Plan with Maxis Fibre; or
b. by calling our customer care line at 1-800-82-1123 or dial 123 from your mobile or writing in to
customercare@maxis.com.my if you are subscribing to the Plan with Maxis Home 4G WiFi.

30. Maxis shall have the right to immediately terminate the Plan if upon activation of the Plan:
a. you terminate either or both the Hotlink Postpaid 60 plan and/or Home Internet under the
Plan; or
b. you have requested to change or transfer the ownership of the Plan or any of the Services
under the Plan to another person; or
c. you are suspected of fraud or found to be committed of fraud; or
d. you fail or refuse to make full payment of any amount due within 30 days of the statement due
date.

31. Upon termination of the Plan as per Clause 29 or Clause 30 above, all the benefits under the Plan will
automatically cease to be applicable to you and you may be liable for the Early Termination Charges, if
any, on the Services, including the following:
a. For Maxis Fibre under the Plan, Early Termination Charges will apply in accordance with the
SSTC – Maxis Fibre, available at https://www.maxis.com.my/terms-
conditions/personal/broadband/maxis-fibre/; and
b. for Maxis Home 4G WiFi under the Plan, Early Termination Charges will apply if you have
signed up for the Maxis Home 4G WiFi Device Contract Offer in accordance with the SSTC –
Maxis Home 4G WiFi Device Contract, available at https://www.maxis.com.my/terms-
conditions/personal/broadband/maxis-home-4g-wifi-device-contract/.

32. Please note that if only one of the Services under the Plan is terminated, the other remaining Services
will continue as normal but without the benefit(s) of the Plan (as the Plan will be deemed terminated)
and the relevant SSTC for such Service(s) will apply accordingly.

Others
33. For any planned interruption of Service(s), adequate notice will be provided via a valid mobile number
and/or any other mode of communication as we may deem appropriate.

34. Depending on your credibility check you have the option to sign up selected mobile device contract
offered by us. If you choose to sign up/ purchase selected mobile device under this Plan, you agree
that you will be further subject to the mobile device contract terms and conditions including device
warranty (if any) available at a href="https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-
conditions/hotlink/postpaid/plans-services/maxis-device-
contract/">https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/hotlink/postpaid/plans-services/maxis-
device-contract/. Subscription of any mobile device under the Plan does not affect your existing device
contracts with us (if any).

35. For Porting out request after your subscription to the Plan, subject to the terms and conditions under
the Home Internet, you are required to contact Maxis to detach Home Internet from the Plan before
any Porting out request.
