INTRODUCTION
Ray Kroc was a merchant and investor, famous for being the one who bought
McDonald’s from brothers Richard and Maurice McDonald in 1955, 15 years after
its founding.
Despite not being the creator, he was the founder of the McDonald’s chain, as well
as the person in charge of its internationalization and expansion. Kroc started
working at a very young age. In elementary school, he started a lemonade
business on his street in Chicago, then worked in a grocery store and spent an
entire summer in the drinking area of his uncle’s store.
He arrived one day at the McDonald brothers’ restaurant that had a drive-thru
model, no indoor seating, and the menu was limited to hamburgers, fries, soft
drinks, and milkshakes, allowing customers to order and get your orders in a
minute.
Kroc quickly calculated the profits he would make by putting up hundreds of these
stores across the country. But when he approached the McDonalds with the idea,
they told him they weren’t interested in doing it. So, Kroc offered to do it. The
brothers agreed and gave Kroc exclusive rights to sell the McDonald’s method.

CONCLUTIONS

These research projects are very interesting because they help you to cultivate
yourself in general culture, we always see ads for restaurants but do we ever stop
to think about the history behind them and how did they become such a big food
chain?
We selected Kroc who is the one who made McDonald's what it is today even
though he was not the founder of the brand, but he had the vision to grow the
restaurant that the founders did not, he really is a great source of inspiration.
He had an interesting life, for example he participated in the first world war driving
an ambulance and he also met another genius of his time, Disney.
This work in addition to the research helped us to collaborate as a team and agree
for the realization of the work and incidentally we met, we saw the strengths of
each one and we took into account when distributing the work, until all members
were satisfied we sent the final work as there were things to improve.
Also, one of the reasons why we chose Mr. Kroc is that we knew that this character
would not be repeated since everyone is going for the most current ones and we
wanted to be more original.
-MARTHA MARIA CHAVARRIA VILLEGAS
This job I can say that it was something very good, although it is not something that
will benefit me in the future, I did not know the history of McDonald's. In doing this
work I realized that Ray Kroc was not an honest businessman, as I could see that
he did not follow through on his part of the deal to split the profits between brothers
Richard and Maurice.
On the other hand, I can say that the organization of the work was good and
appropriate, there were no complications and we all delivered it on time.
-JUAN PABLO DE LEON
In conclusion this work helped me to know more about this outstanding character
in the world of entrepreneurship due to his intelligence and effort since he had a
very tough youth, knew how to get ahead and create one of the most recognized
and demanded fast food companies in the world.
There is no doubt that Raymond Albert Kroc is one of the greatest minds that exist
in terms of creating ideas because he was undertaking various types of business
and adapting if necessary, to excel until achieving McDonald’s creation.
In addition to carrying out the work presented I think that I have strengthened and
understood many more things about the issues seen in class and put into practice
in evidence to be able to meet the objectives set from the beginning of the school
year, thus complying with the established periods of study established by the
Autonomous University of Nuevo León
Taking all this into account, I believe that the knowledge acquired so far has been
very positive and will be very useful for future semesters, the rest of the career and
the working life that awaits me

-JOSE ALEXANDER CONSTANTINO

Throughout this work I learned a lot about Raymond Albert Kroc since he was the
creator of McDonalds in a certain way since at the beginning, despite the
difficulties he had in childhood, he was very intelligent when setting up a
lemonade stand, thus demonstrating his entrepreneurial mind and throughout his
life make correct decisions to be a very successful man In addition, I learned
interesting things about this character since his actions had impacts that most
people would never imagine. he even owned he owned the San Diego Padres of
Major League Baseball. Kroc was one of the most important people because,
thanks to his effort and dedication, he achieved very important things throughout
his life, such as McDonald's. He also made a number of innovations in the food
service industry. The most important of these was that it offered single-store
franchises instead of territorial franchises, as was the practice in those days.
