Dear hiring Authority,

I am writing this letter as a solid articulation of interest in the Junior Analytics Associate
position at McKinsey & Company, which will push me to new heights. I want to be a part of a
company that aspires me to grow, so I am applying here for an opportunity to take the first step
towards my goal.
I am currently studying Master's in Mathematics and Physics, specializing in "Mathematics." I
previously completed my M. Phil in Applied Mathematics from Pakistan in 2019 and continued
working as a Senior Elementary School Educator at a Government school in Pakistan for two
years. During my thesis projects for my Bachelor's and M. Phil, I have implemented numerical
techniques to solve differential equations. I utilized MATLAB and Maple for graphing
purposes. I have implemented several numerical simulations in MATLAB to check the
performance of the numerical technique. This thesis analytically improved my problem-solving
skills. In both of my thesis projects I have worked independently. My leadership skill led me
to formulate a structural program on team-building activities in School. During my teaching
career, I taught underprivileged children at evening school under the welfare scheme
"Education for all." I also improved my skills as a team member and learned management skills
from professional mathematics teachers. But still, I was thinking of lacking some of the skills
related to mathematics, especially programming skills; therefore, I planned to do my second
master's here in Norway.

While studying at the University of Stavanger, I learned R. I learned R language in the course
"Mathematical modeling and simulation with R." Apart from these skills, I also learned
MATLAB and Maple software. These skills as a mathematician effectively groomed me and
portrayed me as IT savvy. Knowing programming skills as a mathematician distinguishes me
from all other competitors.

I am a good team member and adaptive. I am curious to learn things as quickly as possible. I
am open, collaborative, courageous, and caring. I have amended my adaptability,
communication, and problem-solving skills from my previous job and study background. I
have always been interested in new technology and love solving technology-related problems.
Furthermore, I always try to learn new things that can help me grow in my career effectively.

As a mathematician I have very good analytical skills because mathematicians always love to
play with numbers. I have learned SQL as well as Excel from an online course of Data analytics
offered by Google at Coursera and I am continuously improving my programming skills day
by day.

I look forward to presenting my capabilities in an interview and have enclosed my Resume

within this application, which includes further details of my background and expertise.

Regards,
Farrukh Abbas Bhatti
