• To inform is defined as to tell, give knowledge or information. An example of to inform,


a school informing parents about a school events, such as fundraiser or parent teacher
conference.

• To be informed, you should regularly read reliable news sources and stay updated on
current events in order to make well-informed decisions. An example of this is when
Voting in Elections. Being informed involves understanding the political landscape,
candidates' stances, and current issues, enabling you to make informed choices when
casting your vote.

• The skill of persuading someone to support your position, accept your suggestion, or
act on your behalf. Example of it when you are selling something. In sales, effective
communication is crucial to persuade potential clients to purchase a product or service.
This might include highlighting the features and advantages, addressing objections, and
creating a persuasive narrative to convince the customer that your offering meets their
needs.

• Express your ideas clearly and concisely. You need to know what you want to say,
why you want to say it, and how you want to say it. An example of to influence, is when
your influencing people by using social media. The language used, the images used,
and the overall messaging of a social media campaign can affect how people feel and
react to a cause. Enhancing the impact of communication can be achieved by creating
messages that arouse emotions, utilizing powerful pictures, and interacting directly with
the audience to promote awareness and support.

• Building a relationship with someone can mean developing a close bond or connection
with that person over time. An example of to build a relationship, my friend is facing a
personal difficulty and is going through a difficult period. Saying something like, "I can
imagine that must be really difficult for you. How are you feeling about it?" shows
empathy rather than offering advise right away.

•Example of to maintain or end a relationship. Openly expressing your needs and


actively listening to your partner's needs helps maintain a relationship. Clear
communication about expectations, boundaries, and emotional support fosters
understanding and connections.
Break Up with Someone, when attempts to settle problems through communication are
repeatedly unsuccessful, it may be time to have an open and sincere discussion about
splitting up. Both sides may feel more at ease if the decision's justifications are
acknowledged.

•To develop a career, Leadership Positions in Volunteer or Community groups:


Assuming leadership positions in volunteer or community groups offers practical
experience in project management, team building, and problem solving. These
experiences not only help you grow personally but also show off your leadership
abilities on your resume, which may lead to future job opportunities.
