Slide is the most important content of a presentation. In which
we keep the content through which we present a topic. We can
add the following content like - Text, Audio Clip, Video Clip,
Picture, Charts etc.
Place Holder
पल्स होलडर सलाइड मे बट् व् डॉट् ड आ्ि होि् है जरटम्

ट् कसट, ऑडड्ो जकलप, वीडड्ो जकलप, पपक्र, ्ाररस आदि रोड़्
राि् है |
Place holders are those dotted rectangles made in slides, to
which text, audio clips, video clips, pictures, charts, etc. are
added.
Slide Layout
पल्स होलडर क् अलग अलग अरे रमे ट क् आधार पर सलाइड क्

The layout of the slide is made based on different arrangement
of place holder.
Outline
्् पोराम पवंडो मे Left Panel मे नमलिा है जरसम् प्रेट्ंट मे

नलखा ग्ा ट् कसट ही दिखा्ा रािा है कोई राकाक अथवा
पपक्र टहीं|
This is found in the left panel in the program window, in which
only the text written in the presentation is shown, no graphic or
picture.

इस ऑप्न का प्ोय पेजेटे्न िाइल खोलने के मलए फक्ा

जाताहै जो हमने पहले सेव की होती है |
This option is used to open a presentation file which we have
saved earlier.
सेव (Save - Ctrl+S)
इस ऑप्न का प्ोय वत्मान पेजेटे्न िाइल मे वत्मान राटा

सेव करने के मलए करते है |
This option is used to save the current data in the
current presentation file.
सेव एस (Save As - F12)
इस ऑप्न का प्ोय न्ी पेजेटे्न िाइल सेव करने के मलए

करते है |
Use this option to save a new presentation file.
प्रि (Print)
इसके ननमनमलिखत तीन ऑप्न ममलते है -It has the following

three options -
प्रि (Print -Ctrl+P)

इसका प्ोय पेजेटे्न िाइल को पपंट करने के मलए करते है इस

ऑप्न का इसतेमाल करते हुए आप पपंटर मसलेकट कर सकते
है पेज रे ज सेट कर सकते है और फकतनी कॉपी पपंट करनी है
वो भी सेट कर सकते है |
It is used to print presentation files, using this option, you can
select the printer, set the page range and you can also set how
many copies to print.
क्वि प्रि (Quick Print)
इस ऑप्न का प्ोय पपछली बार सेट की य्ी पपंट सेटटंय पर

ही सीधे पपंट करने के मलए करते है |
This option is used to print directly on the print settings set last.
प्रि ््र्य (Print Preview - Ctrl+F2)
इस ऑप्न का प्ोय कर के हम ्े दे ख सकते है की जजस

मैटर को हम पपंट कर रहे है वो पपंट होने पर कैसा टदखेया |
Using this option, we can see what the matter we are printing
will look like when it is printed.
एकनक्ि डॉ््यूमि (प्पे्े) Encrypt Document (Prepare)
इस ऑप्न से हम िाइल पर पासवर् लया दे ते है जजसके

बाद िाइल केवल उसी पासवर् से खल ु ेयी |
With this option we put a password on the file, after which
the presentation file will open only with the same password.
समड (Send)
इस ऑप्न का प्ोय करके हम पेजेटे्न िाइल को इ-मेल

्ा इंटरनेट िैकस के दवारा भेज सकते है |
Using this option we can send the presentation file through e-
mail or internet fax.
््लो (Close - Ctrl+W)
इस ऑप्न से हम केवल पेजेटे्न िाइल को ही बंद करते है

पोराम खल ु ा रहता है |
With this option we close only the presentation file, the program
remains open.
एक्ोि पॉवेपॉइरि (Exit PowerPoint - Alt+F4)
इस ऑप्न से हम पोराम बंद करते है |

With this option we close the program.

Cut (Ctrl+X)
इस ऑप्श का प्रय सेलेक् कक्े यए कं्े ् कर क् करके
ककलिपरोर मे सेव करशे के ललए करते है | This option is used to
cut selected content and save it in the clipboard.
Copy(Ctrl+C)
इस ऑप्श का प्रय सेलेक् कक्े यए कं्े ् कर कॉिी करके
ककलिपरोर मे सेव करशे के ललए करते है | This option is used to
copy selected content and save it to the clipboard
Paste(Ctrl+V)
इस ऑप्श का प्रय Cut अथवा Copy कक्े यए कं्े ् कर उसी
फाइल अथवा श्ी फाइल मे िहुंचशे के ललए कक्ा जाता है
| This option is used to access cut or copied content in the

same file or new file
Format Painter
इस ऑप्श के दवारा हमे ककसी Text िर लयी हु्ी फॉम्् कॉिी
करके शए Text िर िंहुचा सकते है | Through this option, we
can copy the format of any text and access the new text
Slides Group
New Slide (Ctrl+M)
इस ऑप्श का प्रय वतरमाश पेजे्े्श फाइल मे शई सलाइो
जरड़शे के ललए कक्ा जाता है , कजसके ललए इसमे कई तरह के
सलाइो लेआउटस लमलते है | This option is used to add a new
slide to the current presentation file, for which there are many
types of slide layouts.
Layout
इस ऑप्श का प्रय वतरमाश सलाइो का लेआउ् पदलशे के
ललए कक्ा जाता है | This option is used to change the layout of
the current slide.
Reset
्दद सलाइो के ककसी पलेसहरोोर मे करई पदलाव कक्ा जाता
है जैसे आकर पदला जाता, तर इस ऑप्श िर ककलक करते है
वह िहले जैसा ही हर जा्ेया| If any change is made in a
placeholder of the slide as it is changed, then clicking on this
option, it will be the same as before.
Delete
इस ऑप्श से वतरमाश सलाइो कर डोली् कर दद्ा जाता
है | With this option, the current slide is deleted.
Font Group
Font
्े ऑप्श Text का Font पदलशे के ललए प्रय कक्ा जाता
है | This option is used to change the text font
Font Size
इस ऑप्श का प्रय Font का आकार कम ्ा ज्ादा करशे के
ललए करते है | This option is used to increase or decrease the
size of the font.
Increase Font Size (Ctrl+Sift+>)

इस ऑप्श का प्रय Font का आकार पढ़ाशे के ललए करते
है | This option is used to increase the size of the font.
Decrease Font Size (Ctrl+Sift+<)

इस ऑप्श का प्रय Font का आकार घ्ाशे के ललए करते
है | This option is used to reduce the font size.
Clear Formatting
इस ऑप्श का प्रय Font िर लया्ी य्ी फॉम्् ककल्र
करशे के ललए करते है | This option is used to clear the format
applied on the font.
Bold (Ctrl+B)
इसका प्रय Font कर मर्ा अथवा ोाकर ददखाशे के ललए करते है
| It is used to make the font look thick or dark.
Italic (Ctrl+I)
इसका प्रय Font कर ततरछा ललखशे के ललए करते है | It is
used to write font Italic.
Underline (Ctrl+U)
इसका प्रय Font कर अंोरलाइश करशे के ललए करते है | It is
used to underline the font.
Strike-through
इसका प्रय Font के पीच मे लाइश पशाशे के ललए करते है
| It is used to draw lines in the middle of font.
Shadow
इस ऑप्श से ्े कस् के िीछे छा्ा ददखाई जा सकती
है | With this option, the shadow behind the text can be shown.
Character Spacing
इस ऑप्श से ्े कस् मे अकरष के पीच सिेस पढ़ा्ा जाता
है | This option increases the space between letters in the text.
Change Case
इस ऑप्श का प्रय इस ललए कक्ा कक हमे Text मे कौश से
ले्सर Small रखशे है और कौश से ले्सर Capital रखशे है | Used
this option to know which letters we want to keep small in text
and which letters to keep capital.्े िाँच तरह के हरते है -
There are five types -
1. Sentence case.
2. lower case
3. UPPER CASE
4. Capitalize Each Word
5. tOGGLE cASE
Font Color
इसका प्रय Font का कलर पदलशे के ललए करते है | It is
used to change the color of the font.
Paragraph Group
Bullets
इसका प्रय प््ेक िैरागाफ की िहली लाइश की ्र
ु आत मे
पुले् िॉइं् लयाशे के ललए करते है | It is used to place bullet
points at the beginning of the first line of each paragraph.
Numbering
इसका प्रय प््ेक िैरागाफ की िहली लाइश की ्रआत मे
शंपररंय लयाशे के ललए करते है | It is used to place Numbering
at the beginning of the first line of each paragraph.
Decrease Indent
इसका दवारा लसलेक्े ो िैरागाफ कर पा्ीं तरफ घ्ा्ा जाता है
| By this, the selected paragraph is reduced to the left.
Increase Indent
इसका दवारा लसलेक्े ो िैरागाफ कर दा्ी तरफ पढ़ा्ा जाता है
| This increases the selected paragraph to the right.
Line Spacing
इसका प्रय िैरागाफ और लाइश के पीच की दरू ी कम ्ा
ज्ादा की जाती है | It is used to Increase or decrease the
distance between the paragraph or line.
Text Direction
इस ऑप्श का प्रय ्े कस् की दद्ा पदलशे के ललए कक्ा
जाता है | This option is used to change the direction of text.
Left Align (Ctrl+L)

इसका दवारा Text की िरजी्श पा्ीं तरफ राखी जाती है
| Through this, the position of the text is placed on the left side.
Center Align (Ctrl+E)

इसका दवारा Text की िरजी्श पीच राखी जाती है | Through
this, the position of the text is kept Center.
Right Align (Ctrl+R)

इसका दवारा Text की िरजी्श दा्ी तरफ राखी जाती है | By
this, the position of the text is placed on the right side.
Justify (Ctrl+J)
इसका दवारा Text की िरजी्श दा्ी और पा्ीं तरफ दरशष से
परापर राखी जाती है | By this, the position of the text is placed
equal to both the right and the left side
Align Text
इस ऑप्श से ्े कस् की िरजी्श Top/Middle/Bottom रख

सकते है |
With this option, the position of the text can be kept Top /
Middle / Bottom.
Convert To Smart Art

इस ऑप्श के दवारा है कं्े ् पॉकस मे ललए ्े कस् कर समा्र
आ्र गाकाकस मे पदल सकते है | With this option you can
convert the text into smart art graphics written in the content
box .
Drawing Group
इस ऑप्श मे कई तरह के ऑप्श लमलते है कजशके दवारा

कई तरह की आकृतत्ाँ पशा्ीं जा सकती है और उनहे मॉडोफाई
कर सकते है | There are many options available in this option,
through which many types of shapes can be created and can be
modified.
Editing Group
Find (Ctrl+F)
इस ऑप्श का प्रय फाइल मे ककसी ्े कस् कर ढूढ़शे के ललए
कक्ा जाता है | This option is used to find any text in a file.
Replace (Ctrl+H)
इस ऑप्श का प्रय फाइल मे ककसी ्बद कर ककसी दस
ू रे
्बद से पदलशे के ललए कक्ा जाता है | This option is used to
replace a word in a file with another word.
Goto (Ctrl+G)
इस ऑप्श का प्रय करके हम कसरर कर फाइल मे ककसी भी
लाइश, िैरागाफ, िेज आदद िर सीधे िंहुचा सकते है | Using this
option, we can access the cursor directly on any line, paragraph,
page etc. in the file.
Select All (Ctrl+A)

इस ऑप्श कर हम कई तरह से प्रय कर सकते है |
We can use this option in many ways.
्दद कसरर ककसी पलेस हरोोर मे हर कजसमे Text ललखा हर तर

आि इस ऑप्श से उस पलेसहरोोर का सारा ्े कस् एक साथ
सेलेक् कर सकते है | If the cursor is in a place holder with text
written in it, then with this option you can select all the text of
that placeholder at once.
्दद आिशे करई पलेस हरोोर सेलेक् कर रखा है तर तर इस

ऑप्श से आि उस सलाइो के सभी पलेसहरोोसर कर एक साथ
सेलेक् कर सकते है | If you have selected a place holder, then
with this option you can select all the placeholders of that slide
simultaneously.
और ्दद आिशे लेफ् िैशल से करई सलाइो सेलेक् कर राखी

है तर आि इस ऑप्श से उस पेजे्े्श की सभी सलाइइस
सेलेक् कर सकते है And if you have selected a slide from the
left panel, then with this option you can select all the slides of
that presentation.

इस ऑप्श मे कई और ऑप्शस होते है होते है जिशके द्वरव

स्वइइ पर टे ब् इनसटर कर सकते है अथ्व ड् कर सकते है |
There are many more options in this option, through which you
can insert or draw a table to the slide.

Picture
इस ऑप्श कव प्ोय कमप्ट
् र सससटम मे उपजसथत पपक्र
से्ेकट करके स्वइइ पर िोड़ सकते है |
Using this option, you can add a picture to a slide by selecting a

picture from computer system.
Clip Art
्े भी एक तरह की पपक्र होती है िो MS Office के सवथ आती
Office Collection मे आती है | इनहे भी से्ेकट करके फवइ् मे
िोड़व िव सकतव है |
This is also a type of picture that comes in the Office Collection

that comes with MS Office. These can also be selected and
added to the slide.
Photo Album
इस ऑप्श कव प्ोय पेिेटे्श मे फोटोि कव एलबम बशवशे के
स्ए कक्व िवतव है जिसके स्ए कशप््टर मे उपसथथत पपक्सर
से्ेकट करते है |
This option is used in the presentation to create an album of

photos.
Shapes
इस ऑप्श तरह की आकृथत्वँ सम्ती है जिनहे स्वइइ मे िोड़व
िव सकतव है और उसके आकर और रप को इच्व अशुसवर
बद्व िव सकतव है |
This option provides the different types of shapes that can be

added to the slide and we can modify it easily.
SmartArt
इस ऑप्श की मदद से प््ेष पकवर की आकृथतओश द्वरव
स््शव को द्वर्व िवतव है | इसमे पपरवसमइ, सवइकक्, है रवररक्
आदद इव्गवम बशव्े िव सकते है |
With the help of this option, information is displayed by special

types of shapes. Diagrams like pyramids, bicycles, herbal etc.
can be made in it.
Chart
इस ऑप्श की मदद से हम ककसी इवटव और उसकी ्ैल््
कव गवकाक रप िैसे-क््म ्वटर , पवई ्वटर आदद तरह के ्वटर
बशव्े िव सकते है |
With the help of this option we can create graphical form of

data and its value like column chart, pie chart etc.
Links Group
Hyperlink (Ctrl+K)
इस ऑप्श की मदद हम अपशी फवइ् मे ककसी अन् फवइ्

को स्शक कर सकते है | िो स्वइइ ्ो के दौरवश मवउस से
जक्क करशे पर खु्ेयी|
With the help of this option, we can link any other file in our file.
Which will open when clicked with the mouse during the slide
show.
Action
इस ऑप्श से ककसी ्ेप को से्ेकट करके उस ्ेप पर एक्श
्यवशे के स्ए करते है िो स्वइइ ्ो के दौरवश एक्श ्ो
करती है िैसे शेकसट स्वइइ, पीप््स स्वइइ , एनइ ्ो आदद|
With this option, you select a shape and apply the action to the
shape that the action shows during the slide show such as next
slide, previous slide, end show, etc.

With this option, a box can be created in the slide in which text
can be written.

Header
्े स्वइइ की ऊपरी मवजिरश मे होतव है इसमे हम कोई टे कसट
टवइप कर सकते है िो पेिेटे्श की प््ेक स्वइइ पर िड़

It is in the top margin of the slide, in this we can type any text
which will be added on every slide of the file.
Footer
्े स्वइइ की थश््ी मवजिरश मे होतव है इसमे हम कोई टे कसट
टवइप कर सकते है और पेि आदद िोड़ सकते है , िो स्वइइ के
प््ेक स्वइइ पर िुड़ िव्ेयव |
It is in the lower margin of the slide, in this we can insert any

text, slide number, number of slides etc., which will be added
on every slide of the file.
Word Art
्े एक तरह कव गवकफक् टे कसट होतव है जिसकी कई तरह की
सटवइ् भी सम्ती है | िो पोिेकट फवइ् आदद कव क्र पेि
बशव्े मे मदद करतव है |
This is a kind of graphical text, which also has many styles.

Which helps in creating the cover page of the project file etc.

इस ऑप्श से फवइ् मे ्तरमवश सम् और तवरीख सीधे
िोड़े िव सकते है |
With this option, the current time and date can be added
directly to the file.
Slide Number
इस ऑप्श स्वइइस पर स्वइइ शशबर िोड़े िवते है |
Slide numbers are added to this option slides.

Symbol
इस ऑप्श की मदद से प्सभनश पकवर की च्नह फवइ् मे
िोड़े िव सकते है |
With the help of this option different types of symbols can be

added to the file.

इस ऑप्श से हम ककसी अन् पोगवम िैसे एकसे्, प््रप्इशट,
शोटपैइ, फोटो््प आदद मे बशव्ीश य्ी फवइ् अपशी एम.एस.
प््रप्इशट की फवइ् मे सीधे ्व्व िव सकतव है अथ्व उसमे िव
कर कव्र कक्व िव सकतव है और फवइ् मे ्व्व िव सकतव है

By this option we can add other program's file like Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Photoshop etc. Or we can Insert already created
file of other program then MS PowerPoint.

इस ऑप्श से हम स्वइइ पर ्ीडइ्ो जक्प अथ्व एथशमेटेइ
पपक्र िोड़ते है | िो स्वइइ ्ो मे ददखवशी हो|
With this option we add a video clip or animated picture to the

slide, To be shown in the slideshow.
Sound
इस ऑप्श से स्वइइ पर ऑडइ्ो जक्प अथ्व ररकवइ्इ सवउश इ
िोड़ते है िो स्वइइ ्ो मे ््वशी हो|
With this option, you add audio clip or recorded sound to the
slide which is to be played in the slide show.

इस ऑप्श का प्रय प्रेज््श कर पपरज करश् क् लिए प्र
स्जअप करश् मे कक्ा राता है | इसमे सिाइइ , हैइडआज,
डआजिाइश डदि कर पपरज क् लिए स्जअप करत् है |
This option is used to set up the page to print the presentation.

In this slides, handouts, outlines etc. are setup for printing.
Slide Orientation
इस ऑप्श स् स्कश पर दिख रही सिाइइ का ओररएरज््श
बिि सकत् है - रैस् Portrait अथवा Landscape.
With this option you can change the orientation of the slide
visible on the screen - like Portrait or Landscape.
Themes Group
इस ऑप्श स् प्रेज््श कक थीम बििी राती है , इसक् अिावा

थीम किर, थीम फॉणज, समाजर डजर थीम डदि भी बिि् रा
सकत् है |
With this option, the theme of the presentation is changed,

besides the theme color, theme font, smart art theme etc. can
also be changed.
Background Group
Background Styles
इस ऑप्श स् बैकगाआर इ सजाइि बिित् है |
This option changes the background style.

Hide Background
इस ऑप्श का प्रय बैकगाआर इ छुपा ि् श् क् लिए कक्ा राता
है |
This option is used to hide the background.

Animations Tab
पिक्चर के कंटे ंच को सिेेश इफेकंच चे स्क् िर ्श्ा

ए्ीमेे् कहशाता है |
Moving pictures on screen with special effects is called
animation.
Preview Group

इच ऑपे् ककशक कर्े चे सशाइइ िर शगे ए्ीमेे् इफेकंच
का पीरीव ्ामरश स्क् िर ही दे ख चकते है |
By clicking this option, the preview of the animation effects on
the slide can be seen on the normal screen itself.
Animations Group
Animate
इच ऑपे् चे सचशेकटे इ कंटे ट िर ए्ीमेे् इफ़ेकट शगाीा
जाता है |
With this option, the animation effect is applied to the selected
content.
Custom Animation
इच ऑपे् िर ककशक कर्े चे स्क् िर दाीी ओर टासक िे्
खश
ु ेगा कजचमे ए्ीमेे् इफ़ेकट शगा्े ऑपे् समशेगे| इचमे
ए्ीमेे् इफ़ेकट कक ्ार शेरी होती है जो सशाइइ चे कंटे ट
सचशेकट कर्े के बाद Add Effect ऑपे् मे समशेगे | ीे ्ार
शेरी Entrance, Emphasis, Exit और Motion path है |
Clicking on this option will open the task pane on the right side
of the screen, in which options will be given to apply animation
effects.There are four categories of animation effects which will
be available in the Add Effect option showing after selecting the
content from the slide. These four categories are Entrance,
Emphasis, Exit and Motion path.
Transitions to this slide Group

इच गुि मे वे ए्ीमेे् इफेकंच होते है जो कमिशीट सशाइइ

िर शगाए जाते है , और सशाइइ ेो मे सशाइइ के ेुर होते ही
्शते है | इच ही टांजीे् इफ़ेकट कहते है |
This group consists of animation effects that are applied to
complete slides, And in slideshow, the slide starts as soon as it
starts. This is called transition effect.
Transition Sound

तो On Mouse Click ऑपे् के ्ेकबॉकच को अ््ेक करके
Automatically After के ्ेकबॉकच िर ्ेक कर दे और Apply To
All slide ऑपे् िर ककशक कर दे |
If you want the presentation to run automatically in the
slideshow, then Uncheck the checkbox of the On Mouse Click
option and check the automatically checkbox of After and click
on the Apply To All slide option.

Using this option we can select some slides from the
presentation and run it separately. Using this option, we select
the desired slide from the presentation and make a set and
save it by giving a name. Which can be run separately.

Hide Slide

छुपाई य्ी स्ाइइ स्ाइइ ्र मे ददखाई शहीब द् यी|
With this option we hide the active slide. ie the hidden slide
will not be visible in the slideshow.
Rehearse Timings
इस ऑप्श पर क््क करश् पर स्ाइइ ्र क् साथ जाइमर भी
च्ता है रर स्ाइइ ्र ख़तम हरश् क् बाद बताता है की
प्रेज््श कर ककतश् सम् मे ख़तम कक्ा य्ा है | अतः आप
जाइमर स् प्रेज््श क् साथ ररहसथ् कर सकत् है |
On clicking this option, the timer runs along with the slideshow,
after the slideshow finished, it tells how much time the
presentation has been taken. So you can rehearse with the
presentation from the timer.

ये पेरेजेंट का डिफ़ॉलज वयय होता है , इसमे स्कट पर एक

कंजे ज रोड़ते है | स्कट पर ्ेफज साइि मे एक पैट् होता है
जरसे ्ेफज पैट् कहते है जरसमे स्ाइि और आउज्ाइट होता

Slide master is used in presentation to add content (such as

picture) at once on all slides with the same slide layout.
Handout Master

With this option we can add any content (such as text) to all

With this option, gridlines are visible or hidden on the slide.
Message Bar
इस ऑपंट से मैसेर बार दिखाया अथवा छुपाया राता है |
With this option, the message bar is shown or hidden.
Zoom Group
Zoom
इस ऑपंट से स्ाइि कक ज़लय मंग कम अथवा जयािा कक राती
है , स्ाइि कक कम से कम ज़यलमंग 10 % और जयािा से जयािा
400 % कक रा सकती है |
With this option the zooming of the slide is done more or less.
And maximum zooming of the slide is 400% and minimum
zooming is 10%.
Fit to Window
इस ऑपंट पर जक्क करते है ही स्ाइि कक ज़यलमंग
ऑजोमेदजक एिरसज होकर स्कट पर कफज होती है |
Clicking on this option, the zooming of the slide automatically
adjusts and fits on the screen.
Color/Grayscale Group
Color
इस ऑपंट को एजकजवजे रखटे पर स्ाइि क्रफु् रहती है |
The slide remains colorful when this option is activated.
Grayscale
इस ऑपंट को एजकजवजे रखटे पर स्ाइि ब्ैक एंि वाइज कक
ंेडिंग मे दिखाई राती है , ्ेककट स्ाइि ंो मे क्रफु् ही
दिखाई राएगी|
With this option activated, the slide is shown in the black and
white shading, but only the color show will be shown in the
slide show.
Pure Black and White

इस ऑपंट को एजकजवजे रखटे पर स्ाइि पयोर ब्ैक एंि
वाइज दिखाई राती है , ्ेककट स्ाइि ंो मे क्रफु् ही दिखाई
राएगी|
With this option activated, the slide pure black and white is
shown, but only colorful will be shown in the slide show.
