MT ISHTAR DEFECT LIST TROUBLESHOOTING

001 Rescue Boat:-

 Please check battery is ok

 Please turn with hand to see engine is rotating
 Yes Same Found Rotating easily.

 Check do you have engine lube oil to change as oil is emulsified.
 Yes sump oil drained and replanished fresh oil。

 Weather engine is rotating on battery?
 While tried out engine on battery observed smoke from electrical wiring from starter.

 If rotating then check glow plug and diesel oil is flowing to engine and revert with finding.

002 No #2,O2 Analyser

 How many O2 analyser we have ?

 Two .
 Check weather sensor problem or PCB issue.
 Sensor is missing PCB found defective.，showing no display at all.

003 No 2 IG Blower

 As discussed please open up and clean, do u have spare impeller? If not pls raise req for
same.
 BLOWER SIDE INSPECTION DOOR OPEN BLOWER IMPELLER INSPECTED FOUND PITTED AND
MOST OF IMPELLER VANES WASTED AND THIN DOWN, SAME NEED TO BE RENEWED.SHAFT,
IMPELLER AND BEARINGS AND OTHER PARTS REQ TO BE RAISED.

004 ER oil mist detector

 Please send report on trouble shoot carried out.

 ER OMD 2 Sections overhauled and Fitted back found satisfactory，work in progress。

008 Deck air compressor

 Please carry out trouble shooting problem with electrical or mechanical problem or
electronic controller.
 Deck air compressor checked ，found belts and other electrical connection were
disconnected.work in progress to make it operational.

009-010 purifier

 Please carry out overhauling and revert

 Required spares are not available on board， Requisition to be raised to overhauled the
same .

016- Elevator
  Check for alarms on elevator panel and revert with trouble shooting.
 To be checked。

STP

 Please carry out trouble shoot and revert.

 To be checked。

Engine room pipeline and valves

 Engine room pipelines please plan to renew for LT cooler and other pipeline which cannot be
done during sailing。
 Required oxygen and acetylene gases to carry out the job。

Deck:-

VRCS-

 Please check all valves from local control which are not working from and check for
operation
 Use portable hand pump and check which pressure the valve is opening.
 Please change solenoid if spare is available, or change from any working valve.
 Purge lines if required.

Bridge equipment

 Received list will update with technician visit.

Winches & Pipelines

 As noted from defect list hydraulic pipelines are in very bad shape, please raise requisition
so that it can be changed during the voyage.
 For other pipelines pls send requisition if pipelines not available and also sufficient gas for
carrying out work
 Hydraulic break not holding for winch? please make a list as these need to be overhauled.
 Check the speed of the winches.
 Check windlass hydraulic pump condition.

Other defects which require spares and stores .
