Being an Accountant
My name is Simon Rosfelder. I'm from Berlin, Germany. My
native language is German. I also speak English and Spanish. I'm
an accountant. I work for a small company in Mexico City. Its
name is LaForge Imports. It's a French company. We buy
products in France and bring them to Mexico. Then we sell
them. For example, we buy excellent French computers and
other electronics. We want to sell automobiles and food
products. We also have a small office in Nicaragua.
I have many job duties. I am the only accountant at LaForge
Imports. I get the money from our customers. I pay for
everything we buy. I pay our taxes. I solve money problems. I
also answer the telephone. Every month, I go to our office in
Nicaragua.
As an accountant, I am a success. I have a great skill with
numbers. My manager, Laurence, is very kind. He likes my work
and he pays me well. I like the people I work with. But I don't
really like my job. My hours aren't regular. I sometimes work
nine or ten hours a day. Sometimes I work on Saturdays. I'm
often very tired. I want to have more time with my family. I am
tired of numbers.

studying Web design after work. Soon, I will change jobs.
