SYNOPSIS

'SUGHAMAAI SUBBULAKSHMI'

The story begins in year 2050,where humans forget about the pure meaning of love and
passion. Velan at the age of 60 getting ready for his 60th age wedding celebration
explains about how he met his love and what carried them to live together till now. The
story travels to the year 2011, where velan at the young age of 21,a great football player
of the university and loved by many is winning the quarterfinals qualification round with
the help of his best friend Barathiraja.Velan is happy with everything he has but the only
matter which always gives problem to him is his most beloved football. His girlfriend
Lakshmi hates football ever since 2010 as her brother died after lighting strike during
football training.

On the other side, Velan got his confidence with Malaysian football when Malaysia won
the AFF SUZUKI cup in the very same year. The problem reaches the highest point
when velan has no choice but to lie at Lakshmi to attend the semifinals. During the
semifinals, velan meets Subbulakshmi, a very young girl who loves football and teases
velan for playing against their university on semifinals. Velan and his team win the final
match and lose his love as she get to know the truth. As the year’s passes,Velan and
Lakshmi gets back together. Velan lives with his brother who is married to Latha, a
sweet and caring girl who is now admitted in hospital due to breast cancer. Velan’s
brother bupathi and velan has a age gap of 18 years. Velan’s parents divorced and
married to their loved one leaving bupathi to take care of Velan .

Velan later meets Subbulakshmi again when he starts to work and falls for her natural
attitude and character which really suits him. One day Lakshmi calls him and questions
on the loose in their relationship. Velan is now in dilemma to choose which path of life. A
life with a girl did so much for him and yet never appreciates his dream to be a football
coach pr a girl who understands him and helps him to reach his goal. Velan decides to
tell the truth to Lakshmi about his affair with Subbulakshmi and velan gets to know
about Subbulakshmi’s engagement. At this crucial point, velan’s most beloved sister in
law passes away. Bhupathi breaks down losing his most beloved life partner.
Subbulakshmi decides to make things back in order and helps bupathi to get back
strong. Bupathi realize velan’s situation and decides to explain this young generation
kids what is love and how love can secure the live if lust is never part of love during the
dating life and how does love really helps someone to live together without divorce
problems.The story gets back to present time where Velan advices the young one to
follow what his brother thought him .
