Evored Loreweaver
Self -proclaimed “Star Pupil”, 1st-year Student

Evored Loreweaver is a young student who, in his own mind, is destined for the
greatest of things in Strixhaven. He may not be the son of a Dean, like Killian, or a
prodigy of the Quandrix, like Zimone, but Evored is undoubtedly a talented student, and
his parents do represent the Lorehold and Silverquill colleges, respectively.
His father, Belec Lorestone, has a historied reputation among the Lorehold, and
Strixhaven at large, for being rather… Eccentric, among his peers, to phrase it lightly. His
rather bizarre findings in many of his studies have had him mocked and labeled as
naught more than a “conspiracy theorist”. In truth, Evored has made every effort to avoid
his father and his troublesome reputation, sharing in common only his love of reading
and learning of the history of Strixhaven and Arcavios as a whole. He gravitates much
more towards the style of magic used by his mother, Sharalla Shadowweaver. Sharalla is

a much more respected dueling coach for the Silverquill, who specializes in defensive
magic, the kind that can stop anyone - other mages included, dead in their tracks. The
kind of magic that Evored, too, tends to focus on.
More than anything, Evored wants to rise above the shadow of his mother’s glory,
and his father’s tainted reputation, and create a famous legacy of his own. Naturally, this
gives him a bit of a chip on his shoulder, and quite the attitude to match - though, in his
own mind, it’s for the greater good. Evored believes among other 1st-years that he’s the
best, but that uplifting his peers is the best way to succeed, and in order to do so, he
must make sure to constantly challenge them to keep them at their best as well. He
worries that if one goes too long without practice, they’ll become complacent, and, by
extension, they also become vulnerable, sometimes even weak. This is a luxury Evored
believes no-one can afford, least of all himself. Iron sharpens iron, as the saying goes,
and Evored has an iron wit, to be sure.
Evored knows not what the future holds for him at Strixhaven, though he believes
in full confidence that he’ll leave an impact on the school that will last for generations to
come, and he’ll do whatever it takes to make it so. Whether that is for better or worse,
only time will tell.
