WHY THIS BOOK?
WHY THIS BOOK:

I am writing this book because of all the people that has

inspired my along my path to recovery. There was:

– The Toronto Police Services, 51 Division,

– There was the Toronto Ambulance Services,

– There was the Hospitals,

– The Doctors, The nurses,

– The cleaners (both hospitals),

– The pharmacists,

– The social workers,

– The Physio Therapists team,

– There was all my medical team,

– There was the Trauma Unit Doctors and Nurses,

– Occupational Therapists,

– There was my wife and daughter,

and there was many more people that I have failed to
mention.

Nevertheless, all of these individuals were an important part

of my life, to my road to recovery. As I slowly try to recover at
home now. I realize how important it is to have a system in
place that helps individual people in time of stress and injury.
Where would you and I be without the Doctors and Nurses,
and the Ambulance and Police Services? Probably NO WHERE.

It is important to pay respect to all of these unseen heroes

that do their jobs everyday with great excellence and care.
Some of these doctors and nurses are under great stress and
some of them are burnt out from being over worked and not
enough staffing. I could feel it in their voices and I could scents
it as they talked to one another in the halls and in the rooms
with patients.

So this e-book is also for these unseen heroes, and also to

shed some light on the operations of hospitals, police and
ambulance services that is so vital to a growing city (a city that
is growing everyday).

March 12th. 2024
A TYPICAL MORNING
FEBRUARY 2nd. 2024:

The day started out as a typical day. I was awakened by my

cat Toby who is my “four legged alarm clock” at 5:45 A.M.

This is my cat Toby (my four

legged alarm clock).
In the morning when he jumped on my bed (as usual) it was
his routine every morning but at different hours.

I got up, put the Kettle on to make my morning coffee. I went

to the bathroom, weight myself as I do everyday for the past
10 years. Took my medication, turned on my computer.
Checked the weather and the news.

When the water in the Kettle was boiled I made a cup of

coffee for myself and for my wife who was just getting up
from the bed, this was around 6:00 A.M.

I gave my wife her coffee as she sat down at the kitchen table
to do her three puzzles and drink her coffee. Once she was
done she fed the cat, combed the cat and made the beds.
This was the same routine almost every morning.

About 8:30 A.M. My daughter calls, my wife picks up the

telephone, while my daughter tells her that she wants to do
some shopping at No Thrills, and then go to Shopper's Drug
Mart, and then have a coffee at Tim Horton's. She wanted to
do all this in the morning.

At 9:00 A.M. She was already at the door, wanted to go early

before the mad rush to the store hit. So my wife and her got
ready to go. I however, stayed back because I was not feeling
well. So I told her no I didn't want to go with them.

She turned and said to me, “Since you don't want to go, then
go and pick up an art work for her at Michael's Art Shop”,
which was on John Street and Richmond Street corner. I
hesitated but I said alright. She also asked me to pick up a six
pack of beer for her at the beer store on River Street on the
way back. I said alright.

So at 9:00 A.M. I started out to go down River Street to

Queen Street walking down on the left side of the street. I got
to the corner of Queen Street and River Street, I waited for a
Queen Street bus to take me to John Street. I got off the bus
at John. I waited for the green light to cross, I started to walk
south to Richmond Street corner. I went into the Art Store and
I bought her, her Diamond Art Kit. It didn't take me long
because I knew what flow it was on. It was on the third floor. I
went down and paid for it.

I got out of the store and started to walk up John Street to

Queen Street. Once I was at Queen Street, I walked over one
block to check my bank account at Scocia Bank which was on
McCall street and Queen Street. Once done, I crossed the
street to catch a Queen Street bus back to River Street.

Once I got to River Street, I crossed with the green light and I
went to the beer store to by my daughter her case of six beer.
Once out of the store, I started walking on the west side up
the street to Shuter Street, I crossed to the east side at the
lights. I started to walk up the street on the east side until

I came to the corner of Dundas Street and River Street. From

the art store, to the beer store, to the Dundas corner it took
70 minutes in total.
THE ACCIDENT AT THE CORNER:

FEBRUARY 2nd. 2024 at 10:10 A.M. In the morning.

When I arrived at the corner of Dundas Street and River

Street, I waited for the light to turn green (the walking sign
was lit up), there was three women that was behind me also
waiting to cross the street (lucky that these three women did
not get hit also at the same time as I did). The traffic on
Dundas Street that was going east and west has stopped, and
everything was still.

On the north west side of Dundas Street there was a 5 ton

white truck that was stopped. On the west side of the street
there was a TTC streetcar that was stopped. So I started to
walk across the street going north, I was almost at the white

truck when all at once I was hit by a 2023 Black Lincoln

Navigator coming south on River Street trying to make a left
hand turn onto Dundas Street it was trying to get onto the
Don Valley Parkway. WHAM at 10:10 A.M. I was hit on my left
side of my body. The driver of the van did stop to call an
ambulance and the police.

As I fell forward when I was hit from the impact, I fell on my

left knee. I tried to get up on my knee but I did not have any
feeling in the knee (it was greatly damaged), try to stand on
my right knee then I fell backwards, breaking my three ribs
(the 8th, 9th and 10th ribs) on my left side. As I fell backwards I
could feel two invisible hands holding up my head as I fell
backwards on the pavement, these two hands saved my head
from cracking on the ground. I did not mention it to anybody, I
knew that it was my Guardian Angel protecting my head. This
was not the first time that he came to my rescue (another
time was back in 1968, yes in another car accident, where he
saved my life.)

As I laid there on the ground, the driver of the van stopped

and he called for the police and an ambulance. In about 10
minutes the whole area was sealed off by the police that had
their blue flashing lights on..
I remember one of the police officers came to me and asked
me for my name and for my telephone number, and who can
he call for me. He called my wife about 10:15 A.M to let her
know about the accident. My wife and daughter did not take
the news of my accident well.

The ambulance staff put me on a stretcher and put me into

the ambulance where they started to cut my cloths of and
really check me over. I sensed that the ambulance staff was
under a great stress as they both worked on me. They were in
a great hurry to access me in the ambulance. Once they have
checked me over.

I was then taken over by Ambulance, fast with flashing lights

on to St. Michael's Hospital Trauma unit at the corner of
Shuter Street and Victoria Street.
CHAPTER
(2)
ST. MICHAEL'S HOSPITAL
(TRAUMA UNT)

(FROM FEBRUARY 2nd. TO FEBRUARY 13th. 2024)

IN THE TRAMA UNIT:

I was wheeled into the trauma unit at St. Michael's Hospital

shortly after 10:20 A.M., where I was surrounded by the
trauma team, medical doctors, surgeons, nurses, and other
specialists. They were all checking me with a fine tooth comb.

I can't remember how long I was there, but when everyone

had done checking me, I was put through all types of scans,
and was checked from broken bones and internal bleeding.

However, they have found that my:

– Spleen was damaged and that it was slowly bleeding.

They have corrected the problem by changing the blood
flow of the bleeding.

– Left knee was damaged and was broken, and Dr. Hall the
surgeon had to operate on the left knee two days later on
February 4th. 2024.

– The left pelvis was broken.

– I had three ribs broken on the left side of my body,

the number 8, 9 and 10 ribs.

– And there there was the problem with my gull bladder.

One of the stones got dislodged from the bladder by the
impact of the accident and got stuck in the bile duct that
had to be operated on. The operation was done by Dr.
May. And he told me later on that the opperation was a
success. He wanted to remove all my gull bladder, but he
did not want to take a chance because I would die in the
process, with all the trauma that my body went through.
He did say however that I might have to remove it at
some other point in time. I said to him that I was fine
with that.

After the leg operation I was taken to a recovery room. I don't

know how long I was out. When I opened my eyes, there was
a police officer looking wight at me. He told me that he was
waiting there for some time before I woke up. I said to him
that “It is nice to see you”. He told me that he was there only
to give me the car accident report. And he asked me how fast
the driver went, when he made the left hand turn to get
to the Don Valley. I told him that he turn the corner fast. He
said yes that's what he thought because there was too much
damage on the van that showed that he was going at a fast
pace (cause if he would have been going slow there would be
hardly any damage at all). And he told me that he was charged
for not watching where he was going. Then he left and left me
there on the bed to recover, that was the last time that I've
seen him.

MOVED TO ANOTHER UNIT:

After I was taken out from the recovery room, I was moved to
a TRAUMA ICU room where I was very closely observed by the
nurses, doctors and by other healthcare specialists. I stayed
there at this unit until February 13 th. 2024. I was observed by
the nurses that was on 12 hours shifts for any signs that might
come up dealing with the accident impact.

I did not do very much while I stayed at this unit. I still could
not move or lift my left leg. Not to mention that I was so
doped up on drugs that I had hardly had time to think, due to
all the pain that I was going through. I remember, Dr. Hall was
telling me that my knee operation went really well and that
he was proud of the process and he was proud of his staff.
This made me feel much better knowing that in the long run I
will walk again. It lifted a great burdon of me. I told myself
finally I will be going back to my family.

There was endless nurses, doctors, specialists that was asking

me all types of questions, to see if all my memory was there
intact. I also had psychiatrist there to examine me. The list of
people that was there is endless, but I say one thing that they
were very thorough.

I however, while staying in this unit I sensed that the nurses

and doctors were under great stress and on the verge of burn
out, from all the pressures of doing their jobs. I actually felt
sorry for them while they try desperately to help the public
and save lives. I did at times enjoyed their company because it
does get lonely at the hospital and not seeing your family.

The ritual of these doctors, nurses, cleaners, social workers

and other staff was endless.

St. Michael's Hospital on Queen Street,

Toronto, Ontario.
DAY OF THE TRANSFER:

While I was laying in bed, a social worker came to me and told

me that, there was no beds available at Bridgepoint Health
Center, and that I had to wait for another 7 days to get in. This
Health care unit was close to my home, I could see it from my
bedroom window. I could have walked there in five minutes.
But no luck. The nurse told my wife that I would stay there
until there was a bed found at another hospital.

About 10:00 a.m., in the morning the same social worker

came in and told me that there was a bed available and that I
could be moved right away. I told her that it was fine, I'll take
it. So she made arrangements to move me there by
ambulance. The Toronto Rehab Institute was just two streets
away from St. Michael's Hospital.

So the ambulance staff came up to my room, they transferred

me onto a stretcher and away we went to the Rehab Center.
CHAPTER
(3)
TORONTO REHABILITATION
INSTITUTE (TRI)
When the ambulance driver got to the Rehab center, he
registered my in at the desk and I was taken to my hospital
room that was on the seventh floor.

THE PATIENT IN ROOM 7 SOUTH-023B:

(From February 14th. To March 7th. 2024.)

Yes your right, this was my room number and my room on the
seventh floor. I actually had a window to look out onto the
street. It was neat. This room was a semi-private room and I
had a neighbour in the next bed to keep me company. I was
in this room from February 14th. 2024, to March 7th. 2024.

The first day after I was signed in, I had doctors, nurses, social
workers, pharmacists and other hospital workers asking me
hundreds of questions. Each of these individuals has a set of
different questions that they asked, and I tried to answer then
as truthfully as I could.
WOW, that was a lot on the first day there to handle. But I got
through with it and everyone was happy.
This is me when I was transferred to
the Rehab unit on the first day with
my hospital face, (not shaved).
This is me with my mask on, the
first day at Rehab.
I phoned my wife at home and asked her to go to Walmart
and pick up for me some track pants and tops. She came with
my daughter to the Rehab center and brought me two sets, so
that I can take my therapy class. They both stayed for a short
visit and then they went home.

The Second day, once I was settled in breakfast came at 8 AM,

in the morning, then the nurses came in to take your vital
signs. Then another nurse came in and gave me all my
medications. Then after that the physiotherapist came in to
tell me that I had a 9:00 physio session. Which was alright
with me. So I hurried to eat my breakfast what was left of it,
and then take all my pills. At 10 minutes to 9:00 I was taken in
a wheel chair to the therapy room.

Once there I was amazed of all the equipment that was there,
and that there was other patients there in the same room also
all wearing protective masks.

I was given about six or so different exercises to do while I

was there. One of the exercises that I found hard was when I
was placed on a blue exercise table with a pull rope where I
had to bend my knee, boy was that hard and it was painful.
But I did my ten knee bends, then there was the bum squeeze,
I done ten of that exercise, then there was mopping the floor,
(not washing the floor), this was where there was a piece of
cloth material under my left feet, and I had to stretch my leg

and draw it back, yet this was also painful because it was the
first time that I done these exercises since my operation, and
my leg was still stiff because I had a zimmer on my left leg.
Then there was the exercise around the bars, where I has to
stretch my and swing my left leg side ways, again I done this
ten times. Then there was another exercise where I had to
hold the bars and I had to stretch my legs back, ten times also.
Then there was my last exercise where I had to squat on my
right leg, up and down, yes this was also ten times. And then
there was the final and last exercise which was to sit in the
chair, get up sit down, get up, sit down, for ten times also.

All this was done in my first session. Then I was taken back to
my room, at this time I was in great pain. But I have survived
my first session of therapy. It felt great. So once I was in my
own bed I called my nurse to give me a stronger medication.
Then I just layed there in bed try to get relieve from my pain.
Than at 12:00 P.M. came my lunch. For the first time since I
left St. Michael's Hospital, I had lunch that actually tasted like
lunch. Once I ate my lunch there was not very much to do, so I
just layed there in bed. Nurses came and went about every
two to four hours, doing their jobs. The doctor came to see
me and asked how my day so far went. And told him that it
went great but it was painful, he just smiled.

Then at 5:00 P.M. There was supper, I was really happy to

receive it because by this time I was getting really hungry.
WOW, again it was great food, and it really felt great to taste
the flavour of the meal. Yes I enjoyed it. After supper, I just
tried to relax on my bed (mostly trying to sleep to get rid of
the pain in my left ribs and leg).

My three broken ribs really spiked up to a level 8 and I had to

call the nurse for more stronger medication. The pain from my
ribs were so strong that it surpassed the pain that I was
feeling in my left knee.
I just laid there in bed, try to think of different things to take
my mind off the pain.

THE NIGHT:

I had a very good sleep until I was awakened around 1:00

A.M. In the morning by some noise outside the window, that
came from the street. I don't know what it was but I could not
fall back to sleep. I tried to sleep on my left side, had no luck
because I had my zimmer on, and my ribs started to act up. I
didn't want to call my nurse for more medication. I don't
really like to take more pills then I have too. And as I was
feeling pain, I started to think about another car accident that
happened to me back in 1968. Where I went flying through my
cars windshield and started to bleed heavy, (Please read my
book called “Angels Are Among Us). This book describes the
accident and also the help that these spiritual beings provide
for mankind.

Anyway, I started to think about what has happened that time

in my life. Where I was helped by my angels (the books goes
into more details), and once I got to the Heldamond Hospital,
the top doctor told me that if I was ten minutes late, I would
have run out of blood. I was saved by my angels.

I started thinking, that according to the Bible, at the time of

our birth to the time that we die, we are given many different
angels to help up get through our rough times in our lives.
These spiritual beings are from all levels of the heavens, some
are for protection, some are for guidance, some are for
healing, and some are there as messengers to God. Whatever
their position is, they are there to help us.

I called on my Healing Angel for help. And yes I felt his

presents in the room touching my left leg and my sore ribs on
my left side. Yes he did help because I felt the pain drop from
an 8 level to a 2 level, which I could tolerate. I fell asleep after
that incident and I had a good night sleep.

I did not mention this to nobody, not the nurses or to the

doctors that were treating me. I did need this extra help that
I was getting from another source. Remembering back to this
present accident, I stated earlier that when I felt back and
hurt my ribs, I felt two invisible hands lift my head gently to
the ground so that I would not crack my head on the
pavement. This was the same two hands that I felt healing my
broken ribs and my left knee. (It was help from my healing
angel) which I am greatful for. Once I got to St. Michael's
Trauma Unit, they examined my head for any fractures since
there was blood there also but they found nothing.

CALLING UP MY HEALING ANGEL:

The way that I called up my healing angel was by saying:

“ I am calling on my healing angel to please

help
to heal my left knee and my broken ribs. I
repeated
this three times and end it with THANK YOU.”
PLEASE NOTE:

“ DO NOT PRAY TO YOUR

ANGELS, because they
do not deserve your prayers.
They are given to you from
birth to help, heal, guide,
you in all aspects of your life.
SO DO NOT PRAY TO
YOUR ANGELS, That is a
NO, NO.”
With all that said.

The third day in the rehab center was very much the same as
the second day, with more exercises added. I got smart this
time before the 9:00 A.M. Physiotherapy session I asked the
nurse to give me my medications early, specially my stronger
pain killers. This really helped me get through the morning
physio class, and I did not feel the pain as much so the
exercises went smoothly. All the physiotherapists were happy
about that.

However, after the therapy I went back to my room, got onto

my wheel chair and started to make two laps around the
hospital to strengthen my upper arm muscles. Once in the
morning and once at night after dinner.

Then also I added 1 and a half blocks with my walker, to

strengthen my left knee. After my last exercise I went back to
bed to relax my muscles and knee. As the weeks in the
hospital wore on I added more and more blocks at one time I
have accomplished to do seven and a half blocks.
FEBRUARY 18th. 2024:

Yes you guessed it, this was my birthday. I had turned 75

years old on my hospital bed, here at the Rehab center. I was
told by my nurse that there would be an announcement over
the PA system to announce my birthday, but that never
happen.

I had my physiotherapist wish me a happy birthday. I had

three other nurses also wish me a happy birthday. Then there
was my wife and daughter who called me on the telephone at
the hospital to wish me a happy birthday.

She said to me she and my daughter got a birthday present

for me when I get home. It is sitting on my chair, both
presents. My mind was racing because she did not tell me
what it was. I tried to guess what it was all that day.

The rest of the day went as usual, nurses came to see me,
took my blood, gave me my medication, asked me some
questions.
The following days up to March 5th. 2024 was the same as the
previous days. On March 5th., I told the nurse that I had an
appointment for March 6th. 2024, at St. Michael's Hospital
Fracture Clinic to see Dr. Hall.

MARCH 6th. 2024:

The arrangements were already made by my nurses to take a

wheel chair taxi to the hospital for my 8:30 A.M.
Appointment. Funny thing happened here, I ate my early
breakfast, when an announcement came over the loud
speaker that there will be a fire alarm test at 7:15 A.M. I got
dressed in a hurry, got into my wheel chair, went past the
desk to the elevators, and down to the first floor lobby. I
waited in the lobby for about 10 minutes before the taxi
arrived.

I had to get down to meet the taxi before the fire alarm
testing, where the fire doors would be shut and the elevators
will rest in the lobby.
Anyway, I got into the taxi, went to St. Michael's for my
appointment. I was waiting in the lobby to be taken to the
fracture clinic. When I got a call from my nurse in the lobby,
she was really panicing. She asked me where I was. I told her
that I was at St. Michael's Hospital, waiting to be taken to my
appointment, and that I will return after I have seen my
doctor. My wife called me later to tell me that she got three
calls from my nurse. She thought that I went home.

At my appointment, I waited for about 1 hour before

someone called my name, and told me that I have to have
some x-rays done on my left knee. They took two x-rays of my
left knee to see how it was preforming. Once that the x-rays
were taken, a person pushed me in the wheel chair, to a hall
and left me to sit there until I was called by the doctor.

About 50 minutes waiting in the hall, I was taken to an

examination room not far from where I was waiting. A doctor
told me to get on this examination table and take off my
zimmer. I asked if he was Dr. Hall, he said no. He told me that
Dr. Hall was off that day. He looked at my leg, didn't say too
much and he told me that I can leave. He told me to book
another appointment for April 17th. 2024, because he wanted
to take two more x-rays of my left leg. I put my zimmer back
onto my left leg and got into my wheel chair and I started to
head for the main lobby. WOW, I was confused because they
had renovated the area and getting to the lobby was really a
challange. I was lucky that there was someone there that
knew the set up of the floor, he showed me a short cut
through a lunch area of the floor, that led me to a door at the
end of the room. I hit the bar on the door and there I was out
in the lobby. There was tons of people coming and and going
in the lobby.

Finally when I got to the lobby, I made a phone call to the taxi
company. Told then that I was ready to go back to the Rehab
center. The driver picked me up about 10 minutes later.

ONCE BACK AT THE REHAD CENTER:

Once I arrived back at the Rehab center main floor lobby. I

said goodbye to the cab driver, who was really helpful in
taking me to the lobby. I started to find the elevators around
the corner and took it up to the seventh floor.

Once I got out of the elevators, all the nurses came rushing
over to me and asked me how and where I was, because

they could not find me. One of the nurses came over to me
and said. “I thought that you flew the coop.” and she smiled
at me, and I said that it is nice to be missed.

I headed passed the main desk back to my room and back to

my bed, where my lunch was already waiting for me. I got
undressed and started to eat my lunch when my
physiotherapist came in and told me that there would be no
exercise time today. I told her that it was alright, that I will do
my exercises here in my bed to strengthen my leg. She left
with a smile.

Once I have done them, I asked the nurse to give me some

stronger medication because mt ribs and knee was hurting. I
rested in my bed rest of the day.

After I had eaten my supper around 5:00 P.M. I started to to

my laps around the floor in my wheel chair first. I have done
four laps around the block. I get back into my bed and rested
there for about one hour before I started to do the rest of my
exercise with my walker. I had done five and a half blocks

all together in my wheel chair and walker. After that I called it

a day and I went back to bed, and had a sleep.

DAY OF MY RELEASE: (March 7th. 2024)

I woke up this morning by my nurse at 6:00 A.M. she was

checking on me if I was alright. Then at 7:00 A.M. Came in a
staff from the kitchen and brought me a glass of fresh iced
water. Then at 8:00 A.M. This same staff brought me my
morning breakfast. I had a call from my daughter yesterday
that she would come and pick me up early between 8:30 A.M.
And 9:00 A.M. That was a good time because the release
time was at 9:00 A.M. I got dressed fast and I finished off the
rest of my breakfast and had taken all of my medications. It
was at 8:30 A.M. When my daughter arrived to take me home.
I was still taking my medications.

I was given all of my release papers from the hospital the

night before to take with me. I had my psysiotherapist come
to see me off, then there was my nurses, and the social
workers. Once everyone said their goodbye, we started to
leave at 9:00 A.M. At the elevators, I met another nurse who
gave me a hug, and asked me if I was skipping town. I told her
that I was. She looked really sad to see me go because we
became good friends, while I stayed at the Rehab center.

My daughter and I got on the elevator and went down to the

lobby on the first floor to a waiting cab, to bring us home.

I was really looking forward to be home again. It has been five

weeks, the longest time that I was away from my wife in 53
years.
WHEN ARRIVING HOME: (March 7th. 2024)

When we got out of the cab, it was hard for me to bend my

legs to get out of the cab. But I managed with my walker that
was on loan from social services. The lobby was full of people
and they were all asking questions of what happen. The news
spread fast in the building.

Anyway when we got into my apartment, I saw my wife and

she was happy to see me and she gave me a hug. WOW, that
was a good feeling, knowing that I am home again.

NOW the hard thing for me to do, is to do all the exercises

that I was given and to get well, and to use my left knee, and
try to put up with my three broken ribs, that I still had lot of
pain with.

The recovery at home is still continuing. With luck I will be

back running and walking again and enjoying it with my wife.

Dear Mayor,

I would like to take this opportunity to write you this letter in

corner at 10:10 A.M., and also I would like to thank the police
officer that came to see me in the recovery room trauma

ONTARIO GOVERNMENT
DOUG FORD, Ontario Premiere
Office Of The Premiere,
Government Of Ontario,
Main Parliament Building,
Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Dear Premiere;

RE: More funding for Health Care.

I am taking this opportunity to write to you about the above

subject. I survived a recent car accident where I was walking
and got hit by a van on February 2nd. 2024 of this year. While I
was taken to the hospital to the trauma unit. I sensed a great
urgency to try to help the doctors, nurses, police and
Ambulance drivers. Most of these people are under great
stress and are on the verge of burn out due to too much work,
and lack of staff and also lack of proper funding for the
services that they provide the public.
I feel that more funding would help the situation and would
improve the services that they provide to the public. If you
could find it in your heart and in your budget, please provide
more funding to these vital services that we so greatly need.

“WHERE WOULD WE BE without the doctors, nurses,

ambulance and the police services?” Probably no where.

IN ALL DUE RESPECT.

Your truly,

Dr. George Felfoldi, DD, PhD.

GOVERNMENT OF
CANADA
HON. JUSTIN TRUDEAU, Prime Minister,
OFFICE OF THE PRIME MINISTER,
Government Of Canada,
Parliament Building,
Ottawa, Quebec, Canada.

Dear Hon. Justin Trudeau,

RE: More funding to Health Care.

I am taking this opportunity to write you this letter in regards

to the above subject. I was recently on February 2 nd. 2024 in a
car accident where I was walking at a cross walk and got hit by
a van. As I was taken to the trauma unit at St. Michael's
Hospital, while there I sensed that the doctors, nurses, and
various staff were under great stress and on the verge of burn
out. So I felt an urgency to write to you in regards of the
situation. I know that other parts of the country where
hospitals are concerned are dealing with the same situation.
Not very much doctors and nurses are around to handle this
vital situation.

I urge your government to please find it in your heart and in

your budget to fund the Health Care system in this country. So
that the situation does not get any worse. By more funding
and more money added into the system the doctors and
nurses can provide a better service to the general public.

I feel that it is the right time to help out a broken system and
to get it back on track so that everyone in Canada can benefit.

IN ALL DUE RESPECT.

Yours truly.
