MEMORIAL
SCHOLARSHIP
The George Washington Hollinger, Sr. Foundation, Inc. established the Bernice Hollinger
Memorial Scholarship in 1994. It was established in memory of the late Bernice Hollinger, eldest
daughter and educator, for over 40 years. The first scholarship was awarded in June of that year.

The George Washington Hollinger, Sr. Foundation, Inc. is a


non-profit
charitable organization
with interest in education and Christian missions.

It was established to encourage and support the efforts of young African- American students to
stay in school, strive for higher education, and become model citizens.
